Board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic surgery, I am fellowship-trained in hand and upper extremity surgery as well as microsurgery. I am especially interested in treating all ailments from the finger tips to the elbow and my research reflects these interests. Born and raised in the midwest, I enjoy the honor and privilege of caring for my patients. As a rule, I practice hand surgery as I have been taught by the people I respect the most: being available, able, and affable.

It was not a long wait (I was early), and all of the staff were very nice, and actually pretty cheerful. Dr Martineau himself is very pleasant, good at explaining things, gave me a realistic and practical prognosis. Doesn’t recommend procedures or treatment unlikely to have a positive outcome.

The whole staff was very prompt, professional, and informative. Dr Martineau as well as his resident explained my diagnosis thoroughly, my options, and the results and reproductions of the choices presented to me. I would highly recommend Dr Martineau!

I have been seeing Dr Martineau for the last 7 years on and off due to some issues I have had and some new on going issues as well .. He is very pleasant and cares about his patients and lay out all the alternatives to make sure that they can continue to maintain a protective life..

Dr Martineau is an excellent surgeon. He is also very knowledgeable and interested in making sure the patient understands what is happening and what options and expectations are available and appropriate. Good, bad, or otherwise, he doesn’t just sugar coat it. He gives it to you straight and with compassion. Highly recommended him for great care.
