Dr. David Scott Matthews, MD

I was in so much pain for more than a year when I finally decided to have surgery. Dr. Matthews is my hero!!! I have to say also that his staff is is top notch in my opinion! They are very courteous, I don't think I've ever waited more than 10 minutes before they saw me. I can only imagine of how many other people feel this way about Dr Mathews. He changed my life I am able to work now, I can walk around not being in pain and I can play with my grandchildren!!! Went to the carnival the other day and I did not have a problem. Dr.matthews is truly a very talented surgeon, excellent doctor and he is a miracle worker in my eyes!!!?????? Thank you Dr. Matthews and your whole staff !!! I will see you in a year

I have had 2 surgeries with this Doctor the first one was great, not much pain and it was great. I had to have a shoulder surgery and I was caught in the move from Fillmore and Union offices to the Briargate offices. The service was bad and they were rushing around pushing people through as fast as they could. Well it is a year later and the place is even worse. I need a hip replacement and thought we had every ting taken care of and Dr. Mathews office help failed to follow up and the ball was dropped. The day before the scheduled surgery, I got a call the person that was supposed to do the schedule 3 weeks before and was told that my surgery was in fact not scheduled and that I would have to wait for another week. My wife and family made plans to be there for me and take vacations and time off only to here half a day before that there would be no surgery. Talk about dropping the ball. So I fired Dr. Mathews and will postpone the surgery until I can find one that will have my… health a higher priority that his golf game. How can you trust this doctor operate on you to replace a damage joint when he can't even take the time make sure his patients know what's going on 18 hours before a major surgery. Some how sorry just don't cut it!
