Dr. David Mayo, MD

I have been seeing Doctor David Mayo MD, for well over ten years, I have found him to be very informative and Extremely knowledgeable, He can make an embarrassing and awkward situation not so dreadful. I have always been greeted from all the staff with a smile and treated with respect I love this office and all the staff I give them all 100% quality and they do care about you as a person and look out for your best interest if I could rate it with more stars

I started seeing Dr. Mayo for the nutrition program. I waited for our initial visit to see him for 3 hrs in the waiting and 2 hrs for the second visit before I was even taken back to the exam room. Once I seen him he was great very informative and helpful. I was happy with his services and friendliness. He prescribed me a controlled substance med for weight loss along with seeing his nutrionist . I was very satisfied until the first month was up and I needed a refill. First month I waited almost two weeks second month over two weeks and now 6 months in I have waited over a month to get my script despite calling weekly for the script . Front office staff very rude on the phone . This is patient neglect to not fulfill a script you have prescribe a pt. Will never go back or recommend him to anyone .

I've been a patient of Dr. Mayo for a few years and he is the best doctor I've ever had. He is very friendly and knowledgable. He spends as much time with me as I need. He's the only doctor who I feel truly cares. His office staff is very friendly. The office is very clean and beautiful. I can call his nurse ten times a day and she never makes me feel like a bother. When I call, she always calls me back the same day. I would recommend this office to anyone. Thank you Dr Mayo for always being there!

I had a great experience with Dr Mayo and his whole staff. They were friendly and helpful. I wouldn't go anywhere else. He was patient and explained everything to me and answered all my questions. I have never had a doctor take that much time with me before. Thank you Dr. Mayo.

I decided to write a review after having an annual at Dr. Mayo's office and I read the previous reviews and sorry girls but I completely disagree with your views. I had the best experience ever, the front desk was polite and they may me feel welcome, then I got to meet Doc itself and treated me with great respect, he spent 20 min reviewing my medical history in his office and not undress and cold in an exam room, then his nurse guided me and asked for a urine sample to make sure I did not have a uti and then he did a thorough physical. Really, I went to other obgyns before and no one has treated me the way this office and this Doc did. sorry girls that you did not have what you expected, but judging someone as the worst ever in a 10 min visit or because a nurse did not sent your pills in time, is not to be taken serious. Great doc and staff, I would recommended to all my girlfriends.

I went to Dr Mayo as a student needing a yearly exam and birth control. He told me he found a cyst and was going to schedule a ultra sound for me.. Never scheduled it! They charge extra for a urine sample and they don't even ask if you want one done anyway. His nurse practitioner came into my room didn't even bother to tell me if I was pregnant or not before prescribing me the pill and said shed call in my prescription that day! One week later still didn't call it in! For a doctors office they are completely unorganized and with all the mishaps they don't make you feel like a priority as a patient. Last time I'm ever going there!

Finally a doctor that listen and care about his patient. I started my prenatal care in Ithaca and after a very disappointing start with my other physician I asked around a everyone recommended to go see Dr. Mayo. He was Caring and spend extra time with me listening to my concerns and questions. Months later I delivered a beautiful healthy. Thanks to him and his office staff for the care and compassion provided I could say that having a baby was the best experience of my life.

Excellent Physician and staff. He is the only MD in years that took his time to explain in detail what was happening to me. Thanks Dr Mayo. I'm G ...
