Dr. David James Mcdonald, MD

Horrible doctor… Worst bedside manner I’ve ever seen and he is very condescending and misdiagnosed me with a headache when I had 2 strokes. If I could give this man a zero in could. Don’t ever use him… request another and do your research first.

Terribly rude and abrupt

Dr. McDonald is considered a heartless being who in my opinion is nothing but an overrated racist. My friend’s daughter has been in a coma for several weeks with no diagnosis or prognosis. Her family were waiting for a consult with this doctor for two days and when he arrived, sat at the nurses station and never even looked at my friend who was at the time sitting by her daughter’s room. The nurse asked about the results, he responded ok, walked passed the family and never said a word. I hope God has not granted this species any offsprings. They are not white, but Hispanics and the only reason I can see for this behavior is that he is nothing but a useless racist. God have mercy on him.

Dr McDonald is a caring consummate professional. He never missed a day of rounds while I was in the hospital & always addressed all issues clearly & skillfully. Our entire family hold him in the highest regard.MAH

My mother-in-law was recently a patient at Florida Hospital. This Dr. was called in to consult. He determined she had suffered a stroke on both sides of her brain. The family was nor informed by this Dr. as to the results, how severe the strokes were, nor were we told how the strokes were going to affect her.Never again will this Dr ever treat my mother-in-law, me, nor any member of this family. He needs to be reported to Medical Quality Assurance Board in Tallahhassee. I am in the process of doing just that..

After a couple appointments with Dr. McDonald I realized his bedside manner and lack of concern was not an isolated event. He treated me as if my past medical care and treatment were irrelevant. He requires me to carry my medical records back and forth to each appointment without ever actually reading them. Dr. McDonald's condescending attitude toward my treatment and my concerns were appalling and I would not recommend him.

Didn't really listen and acted as if I was lying about my condition and symptoms.. Sending me for tests but unsure whats wrong. Felt like all of it was about the all mighty dollar..

I was so disappointed in his apparent lack of concern for my husband's condition. He was aloof, sarcastic and we needed support and at least minimal appearance of concern for the patient.

If he can't see right away what is happening with you. He dismisses you with his smirk Saw him verbally assault a nurse at Halifax. Very bad bed side manner . Much better Doctors at that office.
