Dr. David Powell Mcelreath, DO

My cousin posted a minute ago about this issue. I have an ALMOST normal BMI with severe GI symptoms, but this man literally won't focus on the information you are telling him. He comes in the room with an idea of what you are going to say and he won't listen. He was so nice when he worked for LRDC, but he has changed. Maybe it's the pressure of his new practice or something. Unless you are thin and perfect like the people in his life (pictures of his family are in exam rooms), he won't see you. You will have no voice with him.

This man constantly makes comments about my weight and the weight of my other family member that comes here. She has a pretty normal BMI, so I guess he just hates anyone who isn't thin. It's gotten to the point of harassment during our visits. I've decided to start screen recording all of them from now on to file a complaint with the medical board.

I gave Dr. Mcelreath a deadline to diagnose me (I had a European cruise planned). He promised me he would figure out what was wrong. I have a rare disorder that he now has me on medications for and I will make my cruise! He actually cares. He gave me his personal cell phone, so I could contact him, if need be. Would highly recommend him!

He is the best! He is concerned with your problem, he listens and fixes the problem like no other doctor has!

The staff got me an appointment quickly and Dr MacElreath called me personally and discussed my problem to make sure I had the right medications and was taking them properly.. Everyone was very professional and efficient.

Wanted to set up an appointment. Even though i do not need referrals because I have an excellent insurance plan, they would not schedule me without getting a referral from my primary. So that would require another visit sand copay. This is just a way for the medical community to drum up business for their peers and adds costs. I will find another more ethical provider.

I have been a patient since 2014. He & his staff are professional, caring & responsive to my questions & concerns. Dr McElreath actually listens to me as a patient & fully explains my treatment plan. I recommend him to my friends & family. He is an excellent physician.

This doctor is the only only that has ever been able to help me with my colon problem. He prescribed Amitiza formr to take and it works better than anything I've ever taken. I would recommend him to any one needing help.
