Dr. David G. McIntosh

I owe Dr McIntosh my LIFE! He operated on my 5 years ago for ovarian cancer, stage IB, and removed all the cancer. My tumor markers have been stable for 5 years! I thought this would be a death sentence. I am SO GRATEFUL! He was amazing. I like him as a person as well as a surgeon. I wish he was still in Tulsa and CTCA was still here. I'm so, so grateful. Dr. McIntosh was not just professional, but his bedside manner is excellent. The resident doctors are awesome to work with and Stacy is an amazing nurse. Every time I call, I get prompt answers. I was diagnosed with cervical cancer, and the oncology staff was amazing. The patient liaison as always there for me with information I needed during treatment and after. The ease of everything was great-if I had to do it again, I would definitely use Dr. McIntosh and highly recommend him.

I didn't feel that Dr McIntosh was correct in my waiting to have hysterectomy. With my normal oncologist and my regular gyno insisting I have one performed due to preventative measures, I think he should have performed it. Will go back to regular physicians.

Doctor David McIntosh (from Texas) operated on my ovarian cancer. The three hour operation was a complete success. He removed all the cancer that he could see. I felt better after the operation then I have felt in years. Having gone through several rounds of chemo first, most of the cancer was removed, and what was left had shrunk from 5 centimeters to 1/2 centimeters. Chemo prior to surgery greatly reduced the cancer during the debunking process. Both my ovaries, and my appendix was removed and Dr. McIntosh preformed a right hernia repair during the surgery. With a couple more chemo treatments it will remove any cancer he could not find. I am so happy that Dr. McIntosh did my surgery. The after patient care at Navicent Heath in Macon was excellent. My prayers have been answered.

He diagnosed my stage 4a ovarian cancer in 2003. Thanks to him and his team, a lot of faith, hope, and prayers, I am still here today --May 28th, 2015. May God bless you all dearly. I will never forget your wonderful care and compassion.

he is hands down THE BEST! He and Dr. Thomas R. Stewart saved my life through the John B. Amos Cancer Center - Columbus, GA. That was 2002 & 2006 and I'm STILL here by their grace and the grace of God. Dr. McIntosh is by far the most informed, intelligent, experienced, knowledgeable, yet compassionate doctor and above all specialist of whom I have knowledge. I would travel from Columbus, GA to Tulsa, OK right now if I needed his expertise.

He literally saved my life, for which I'll be eternally grateful. God brought him to Tulsa for that reason, and now I know that there is another woman out there who is waiting for him to help her. Only looking back, do we see God's hand at work.

Dr. McIntosh goes above and beyond. I could not be happier with the care I have received. There is something special about Dr. McIntosh that is indescribable.
