I found Dr. McManus after having been diagnosed with paroxysmal afib by another cardiologist who notified me of the diagnosis by phone and sent me to the ER by ambulance for monitoring that the hospital considered unnecessary. Although the previous cardiologist led me to think that fib would be a life changing situation for me, I left my first appt. with Dr. McManus knowing that there were many strategies for controlling the problem. Dr. McManus is clinically excellent and can answer questions with facts and statistics off the top of his head. He is an outstanding choice for a patient who wants to understand their heart condition. The combination of medication and minor lifestyle changes suggested by Dr. McManus has caused me to have no afib episodes of which I am aware for the last two years. Dr. McManus takes as much time as necessary to answer questions in spite of an extremely busy research schedule. I highly recommend this caring doctor.

Dr. McManus is a Class "A" doctor. He is truly caring and concerned for his patient and his/her well being. I have had a call from him at 8:30pm after receiving my test results. I can't even consider a new cardiologist. He is very above board when I ask him questions. His staff is outstanding as well.

Dr. McManus is a very intellegent and caring physician. He instills confidence and trust.
