Dr. David Edwin Mika, DO

I have gone to see Dr David Since I was a teenager. He is funny, caring, loving and THE BEST! I just wish he didn't have to retire. MISS him so much! These other doctors are no comparison! Sucks trying to find a doctor now to replace him! :(

I have known Dr. David E Mika for many years . He has always been there for me. No matter my situation this Dr was right on top of it. He stopped me from getting major surgery for my back at a young age and I am so grateful that I did not go through with it. He started manipulative therapy instead and sent me for physical therapy to the U of M Ann Arbor. I have had many things happen over the years and he always made time for me no matter how crowded his office was. I recommend this Dr to anyone. Over the years I have to say he is the best along with Robyn Mika. They have a wonderful staff as well. 1985-present Sincerely Donna R

I have been seeing Dr. Mika for 20 years. My only complaint is that he isn't at the office 24/7 anymore as my husband hasn't been to the doctor in 3p years and Dr. David is who I want him to see! This man is sooo caring and now that my daughter is a adult she sees him too! BEST doctor EVER!

While he is usually running late on his appointments it is well worth waiting for him. He takes the time to listen to his patients' and never rushes them. Never have had a problem getting in to see him (although I usually make my appointments well in advance). I have had a couple of emergency visits to him and there was never a problem getting in to see him. Nice to find a doctor who cares.

This is the best doctors office. They are wonderful, and really care about their patients and their patients time is important to them too!

BELIEVE the bad reviews. Worst office ever.

I`m looking for a dr. that doesn't just tell me that it`s all in my head... I live in this body.....so the first appt. was with his pa and went well..... today`s not so good. yes he`s going to run the test`s needed ,,, but when the time came to ask him to refill my scrip`s he basically told me no.... when I asked why he told me he had something better... so stupid me went along with it... on the way out of his office and scheduling my other test`s I picked up all my paperwork and the better script. went pharmacist and found out that its one I`m allergic too... he will do nothing about it.....not sure at this point I`ll even go through with the test at this point

After our son was born and released from NICU we used several pediatricians out in Ypsi where we live. For 8 months they insisted everything was fine with our son and that we were "wasting their time with silly complaints". We transferred to Dr.Mika and at the first visit learned he had a severe chest infection, had had it since he was born, and needed strong medication. If it had gone any longer he would have needed a surgery. Ever since then, every time our son is sick, Dr.David finds out why. We have never been told we're wasting their time, and we feel genuinely welcome. He is amazing.

Dr. David Mika is an amazing physician. He is caring and concerned. He takes time to actually get to know his patients and really cares about them. I and my family have been patients of Dr. Mika for 22 years and he is always willing to listen and help. There should be more doctors like him out there.

I've gone to Dr. Mika for close to 30 years.. with exceptionally good care... I've never had any complaints about Dr. Mika or his staff... all are very professional and caring...with the patients needs... you may wait a bit longer but once the Dr. is in the room you have his full attention instead of hurrying out like so many Dr's do I would recommend Dr. Mika to anyone!!!
