He was very knowledgeable and efficient

Dr Miller needs to retire. He barely looked at my record while I was in the office. Asked me why I was there. “MRI results” he said under his breath. He told me exactly what I read on the portal. I have a torn meniscus and ruptured Baker’s Cyst. He said the kind of tear I have cannot be repaired w/surgery. He said they don’t do anything with Bakers cysts. He could prescribe me something for inflammation. He didn’t tell me why he couldn’t do surgery on this kind of tear. He said come back in 4-6 weeks if needed. He prescribed a medication I already have. He didn’t even tell me what he was prescribing. Long story short, I was in pain from July 3rd to August 7th. My left knee has been swollen for a month with a lot of pain. That’s a long time to deal with pain. Before I left I asked what should I do, “just keep doing what I’m doing”. He replied “yes”. He didn’t ask what that was. Last I was told by Jackson the PA was go ahead and put weight on it. Dr. Miller basically left me to deal with… the pain for another month or more. I went to another Dr the next day and he drained my knee, pulled a lot of fluid off and gave me a cortisone shot. The pain left almost immediately. I would love to get a refund on my co-pay, as what David Miller did could have been done over the phone. I can provide a more in depth history of my care from OrthoVA regarding my knees if needed. Miller really needs to go back to his roots, lose the arrogance, and treat everyone with respect and as a unique person, not a number. I’ll never recommend him to anyone. I will make it a point to tell all not to see him. I would have preferred Dr. Nedeff but due to severe pain went with the first available appointment. BIG MISTAKE!

This was my first engagement with Dr. Miller and my first with Ortho-Virginia in 18 years. I contacted them on Monday and was scheduled for an initial visit the next day. From reception, through history, x-Ray, a consultation with Dr. Miller, initial treatment and scheduling of my next appointment; the entire staff was professional, informative and caring. I was truly impressed.

Been a long term patient & friend of Dr Miller’s. Had 2 total hip implants that he performed. Dr Miller & his staff are very accessible, personable & knowledgeable. Would highly recommend him & his staff. They have kept me functioning & pain free thru many of my arthritic conditions.

I think Dr Miller is a great doctor

I wish Dr Miller would take more time with patients. He is a good dr but also is in and out within minutes. I then remember questions I have and no way to ask as he is done and sends nurse in to finish

Dr. Miller listened, did not rush the appointment, and his demeanor put me at ease. We agreed on a reasonable approach to my knee problem.

Dr. Miller is the only surgeon I would ever want to replace my knee or hips . He is the best of the best and his follow up concern for his patients is his as good as it gets! He replaced one of my knees 18 years ago and it still works great!! How I wish I had needed the other replaced before I found out I have cancer that could make the replacement too risky along with my age and other health issues. But Dr. Miller has never stopped giving me extra good care in managing my pain as best possible so I may continue my journey through my life, I think the world of him and all of his ability to make ones life better with his medical and surgical abilities. He has my highest recommendation !!
