Find another doctor. Mueller first told me I needed his cream which is "better than a prescription". At check out it cost me $40 for 1.9oz. My pharmacist said it is no different than any "OTC" product. BUT the worst was he says I have plantar fasciitis. He give me boots to wear at night (charged insurance). He told me I need orthotics, I explained I have a pair but NO I need TWO new ones. And I need physical therapy. Something just didn't feel right so I made appointment with another podiatrist in Morristown. First this new office took X-rays. The doctor examined them before even seeing me. He asked questions and listen to me. He then did a thorough exam of each digit. I have a condition that due to my bunion my next digit is bearing stress of my activity and if I keep ignoring could turn into a stress fracture which is very painful. I did NOT need cream, I did NOT need new orthotics, I did NOT need boots, and I absolutely do NOT have plantar fasciitis and he explained!
