Dr. David Henry Mulholland, MD

He has been my doctor for 20 years. He has saved my life twice! He was not particularly “warm” initially but after getting to know you, he becomes a true friend and your greatest advocate. He is more knowledgeable about his particular specialty than any doctor I’ve ever known, and having leukemia and kidney issues, I’ve known a lot of doctors. Excellent doctor!!

I thought he was going to be a great doctor. I was so wrong. I felt like I was just a number to them and that they could have cared less whether I lived or died. I called thinking I had an allergic reaction to meds they had me on and for 3 days couldn't get anyone to put me through to an actual person or a return phone call. I ended up getting into an Amazing cardiologist somewhere else and had to make sure I wasn't experiencing heart failure. I thankfully had two great cardiologist talking worth me that day, and within two weeks had my correct diagnosis and treatment plan. I'm not the first person to have an awful experience at Jackson heart, I know entirely too many other people who agree. His bedside manner is very lacking. He needs to step back and remember what it feels like to be a patient. I just don't get the feeling that he gives a flip about his patients. I was just another person adding to his piggy bank. FYI: Still have not received a phone call back despite… my sending emails and leaving voicemails and it's been about 3 weeks.
