Great surgeon! Compassionate and answered all of my questions!

Dr Musante has a great attitude towards his patients. He is honest and is genuinely concerned about how you feel. He listens to you and takes your concerns to heart. He is the best orthopedic specialist I have had the pleasure of knowing.

I had spinal stenosis w/ spondylosis for 13 years. Dr. Musante fused 3 vertebraes, performed a laminectomy on 4 vertebraes & cleaned up the bone spurs. He was very thorough in explaining my back issues, the procedures for the surgery & my follow up visits. It's really important that I followed his instructions to heal properly & quickly. I am very pleased w/ the results & walked up to 4.5 miles w/in 3 months after my surgery. I would highly recommend Dr. Musante.

I went to Dr. Musante because I was suffering from back pain. He prescribed an epidural injection and an MRI, and when I went back for follow-up I was in even worse pain than previously, having to shuffle to walk, rather than pick my feet up as normally and finding it was excruciating to even get on and off the toilet, into the car seat, etc. Because of the degree of stenosis present, surgery (or living with it.....yeah, right!) was really my only option. I underwent lumbar fusion two days before Christmas - I was so miserable I would have had it on Christmas day if necessary! Dr. Musante said I should plan on two nights in the hospital, but after the first night I asked if I could go home that day. He said if I felt ready - I had to be able to urinate (after having a catheter in), and be cleared by Physical Therapy. So I was able to leave that day. I have undergone two other fusion surgeries - one in another state, the other by a now-retired physican - so I have something to… compare my experience to. The surgery was a success....the debilitating leg pain was gone immediately and I continue to progress. I am a 66 year old lady and I would not hesitate to recommend him or to have him operate on me again (sure hope it's not necessary, however!)

Initial visit to meet the dr to see if he could help me. He was kind but direct, which I very much appreciated.

David did a L3-4 laminectomy and fusion. I had previously seen a neurosurgeon 6 years earlier and he said there was nothing he could do. So I endured a progressively deteriorating low back and increasing pain. I had to quit playing golf and even walking very much. I visited David and he stated "I can fix this, done a thousand of 'em". It worked, pain free. 5 stars!!

Dr Musanti was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I feel I am in good hands.

Dr. Musante has always given me excellent professional care. He listens intently and gets right on with the proper Care that I need.
