Dr, Myssiorek is amazing!!! He recently removed my cancerous thyroid. Not only did he do an AMAZING job (and left me with the smallest scar ever) he is a compassionate human being (which I've come to realize many Dr's are not)!!! Unlike other Dr's, he takes the time to explain every detail in layman's terms. He is also extremely compassionate, upbeat and truly concerned about making sure that you are well and healed!!!! He is a FANTASIC Dr in the truest sense of the word! When I first saw him, I was annoyed that I had to wait but I know realize that the wait is due to the fact that he takes the time to be present with each patient and explain everything that is going on. He spends QUALITY time with each patient. I had THYROID CANCER that went undiagnosed (or shall I say it was misdiagnosed) for a long time and when he broke the news to me, he was so COMPASSIONATE and made me feel that everything would be ok! And thanks to him, everything is ok!!! HE IS AN EXCELLENT DR!!!! Don't… be deterred by the wait time...if anything, know that the fact that you have to wait means that he will spend as much time as you want asking him questions, etc and he will not shoo you away!!! DR. Myssiorek and his office manager are AMAZING!!!! If you choose to see him, know that you are IN GOOD HANDS!!!! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!! HE HELP SAVE MY LIFE!!!!!! Dr. Myssiorek was part of a two-doctor team that performed an incredible skin cancer and reconstruction surgery on my dad's nose, bringing down skin from the forehead over the nose area. Dr. Myssiork cleaned out all the cancer, thoroughly and carefully (and the second doc, Alan Freedman, did the plastic surgery). Excellently done. That was 5 1/2 years ago and my dad, 96, is fine today, although still a bit elderly :). He avoids unnecessary medical intervention, this was totally necessary and excellent.Dr. Myssiorek was absolutely the best doc doing the best surgery in the best way in the best friendly, informative manner :-). I have been having health problems for years. They finally found out it was my thyroid. I went to see Dr. Myssiorek to have the surgery. I have never found a Doctor who was more caring and explained everything to me and my family. This man has changed my opinion of Doctors forever, if you look,you will find the right Doctor for you. You will never find anyone more caring and professional. When I went into the Operating room, he was right there, waiting for me to ease my fears. I would recommend him to everyone, this man is truly a gift. My surgery is only 11 days old, needed no pain killers and was home in l day and feeling great. All I can say is, Thank you Dr. Myssiorek you have changed my life.

Recently had surgery by Dr. Myssiorek, if every surgery can be a good experience, this was it. Good, attentive, never needed pain medicine after surgery. foloow-up short and sweet. Great personality, and the office staff is just as good.
