David Nasrallah, MD, FACS, FICS, CNSP is Chief Division of General Surgery, MedStar Union Memorial Hospital /MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital. Dr. Nasrallah completed his medical school at American University of Beirut and his Surgical Training at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital. He completed fellowships in Critical Care and Trauma as well as Sports Medicine at the University of Maryland R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. He specializes in the treatment of hernia, breast surgery, as well as a wide range of gastrointestinal procedures. Dr. Nasrallah has more than thirty years of experience in the surgical field.

Dr. Nasrallah did two stomach surgeries on me. last was removing cancerous sigmoid colon. He gas a great positive attitude and makes a patient feel at ease no matter how the patient feels. Helps that he has a sense of humor and will joke with a patient.

From the moment I walked into his office Dr. Nasrallah made it clear that I was in good hands. He took great pains to explain my condition, offer me options, and to help me make an informed decision about my next steps. Dr. Nasrallah's bedside manner immediately before and after my operation were exemplary. He enters the room with the confidence of a surgeon who really knows what he is doing but who also deeply cares about the well being of his patients. This combination of "ability" and "humanity" make a great surgeon.

Dr. Nasrallah has a fantastic bedside manner. He is very easy to talk to, takes the time to explain things in layman's terms, and puts you at ease. He did an excellent job with my surgery and provided lots of follow up to make sure my recovery went well.

Completed a umbilical hernia repair and tightened muscles and in one week I was up and running. I forgot I had the surgery. Dr Nas rocks.

The doctor seemed confident in his diagnosis. Gave me the option of verifying it with a small biopsy. He seemed overall cheerful and wanting to make conversation.

Most caring, competent, and available doctor I have ever had. These traits are especially appreciated when one is diagnosed with breast cancer and can't think clearly.
