Dr. David Marshall Netherton, MD

This dr has been my PCP for 5 years. Never given me a physical, not even once. He prescribed me the incorrect antibiotic TWICE!! He's gets paid being the gatekeeper of ur referrals to more expensive REAL doctors who actual care, so they can do his job for him since he clearly has mentally checked out of years ago. How do I know? Because every dr that he has referred me to makes the same statement " Well that's something your PCP could have done." The deal breaker was when I came to him with concerns of text book Adult ADHD and he made me feel extremely uncomfortable, showed no concerned, and was NOT straight forward with treatment or referral because yes, I even had to pay extra for a specialist to diagnose me on this one, which they made full aware that my PCP should have handled it. Mental health is a very sensitive topic and when a typically healthy functioning adult who rarely goes to the dr for anything, brings a big concern like this one to their PCP, it takes a lot. You expect… to be heard and understood and for things like that to be taken with great concern, instead of being met with a blank stare. In turn he made me feel highly uncomfortable and demeaned, and pretty much acted as though I was some freak of nature asking for an OPIOD prescription that he did not want to write! (Which I was not looking for ) This man could care less but honestly even I don't think its humanly possible. What kind of health care professional adds to the stigma of mental health and just general health care. He does! And that poor experience will always stick with me beyond this mans retirement. So, If you yourself are not a doctor but actually need one pick, someone else. Good doctors never have a high availability. This one does. Beware.

Dr N is overall a pretty good guy but he is about to retire and he's not in the mood to put forth much effort. Prepare for Ibuprophine and time to be his answer to most of your health issues. He makes it pretty clear that he doesn't need you but that you need him. It's a very one sided relationship. At this point in his career (I'll assume he hasn't always been this way) - you are a statistic...an annoyance at that.
