Dr. David Alan Nyberg

Dr. Nyberg is definitely not the sweetest person out there, but he is the brightest and most honest doctor in this field. His advice prevented me from having unnecessary tests and even a surgery. He was there for me through my entire pregnancy and always collaborated with my ob/gyn. Unlike many radiologists, he will tell you the findings right after the procedure and give you the best advice if you ask an intelligent and relevant question. So, be prepared for your appointment, and you will not be disappointed. He is a genius! His staff is very nice and the office is beautiful and relaxing.

Dr Nyberg is undoubtedly the leader in the field of ultrasound pre natal diagnosis.I had researched him before my visit and was not disappointed. There is no one like him in the state, and I have had experiences with many. Overall a wonderful experience and an excellent physician.

Dr. Nyberg and his staff were exceptional in the care of my wife and our pregnancy. We were referred for ultrasound findings that were potentially concerning. At the time of our appointment, Dr. Nyberg reassured us and explained the findings in a way we could understand. We had a perfectly normal baby girl as Dr. Nyberg predicted. The staff was also very caring. Dr. Nyberg is an an expert in the field and it's great to have him and his staff in the community.

I understand that Dr. Nyberg is a very intelligent man and knows what he is doing, but he has the worst bedside manner of any docter I have ever experienced. He was short, rude and simply cold as he told me my baby is at risk of Down Syndrom. He sat there as tears rolled down my face and rambled. He knows what he's talking about, but have a heart Dr!

Dr Nyberg is a top notch doc. Personally I would rather have a Doctor that is highly knowledgeable and skilled. I will give up some "bedside manner" for experience and expertise. All those that have complained about him previously... understand he is doing ground breaking research and surgery to save the lives of his patients. If you are looking for a Doctor that could potentially save your unborn childs life go to Dr Nyburg. If you are looking for someone to coddle you, hold your hand and tell you how cute your baby is... go to someone else.

I went in for an ultrasound at 11 weeks, baby measuring 13 weeks and 95th %ile. Went in again for anatomical scan at 18 weeks, baby measuring 16 weeks and only 10th %ile. All parts of baby appeared to be present and unremarkable. But even when I mentioned this large size disparity, Dr. Nyberg wasnt concerned. The ultrasonographers werent concerned. In 7 weeks my baby went from being really large to really small and no one was concerned?? I was. So I went to see my OBGYN the next day. My baby had died. Sometime in the 24 hours between my appt with FWC and my OB. Im not commenting on the preventability of what happened, I just think it's absurd no one was concerned. My OB sure was when he saw the report. Oh, and my favorite part of the story is that just after he had diagnosed fetal demise, my OB sent me over so Dr. Nyberg could "take a look" at which point, the FWC had me wait IN THE WAITING ROOM with a bunch of pregnant women. And then BILLED me for my copay. I know it's business, and… I dont care about 30 bucks, I just think thats AWFUL. We already knew the baby had died, it was my understanding that I went back to FWC so Dr. Nyberg could learn from the experience. After getting billed, I even called them to explain and I still continue to get yellow highlighted bills. I have to admit, when I offered feedback about not letting women whose baby had just died sit in a waiting room with ANYONE let alone pregnant women, they were receptive. I hope they work on their personal approach. I was not impressed.

Had two visits with this doctor. first visit i waited almost an hour for him to get into the office just for him to tell me, then SHOW me on his computer how to Google my condition... second visit he came in and had no idea what i had until i corrected him! Obviously too busy for me both times, and to not even glance at my chart what a jerk! No bedside manner, asked me disapprovingly if i was planning to get pregnant when i asked if my fertility was affected, who cares if I am young what if i was trying? Then maybe he'd actually care to take a real thorough look in there? WORST doctor i have EVER been to, and ive been searching for a good doctor for years. His nurse and techs were embarassed for him both times poor staff- theyre so sweet and caring but the doctor is an uncaring rude man.

Although the office staff and ultrasound techs were caring and professional, I had a terrible experience with this physician. He was impatient and increased my anxiety during an already stressful situation by making insensitive comments about my anxiety. I was getting a procedure done to rule-out an ectopic pregnancy, and given the sensitive matter, he was uncaring and unprofessional. I do not recommend going to him for services.

I was dismayed by my experience with Dr. Nyberg. I had a follow up visit to determine if my child had a problem that may need to be addressed at birth. When the doctor walked into the room he was condescending to his imaging tech in front of the patient (me). Upon my asking a question about my child's development, he rudely addressed me and answered my question "I probably don't do what you do either." Thereafter, he stated all was fine and was obviously not receptive to any questions about the baby's health. Fortunately, all is well and I will not need to subject myself to such unprofessional conduct. My experience left me less than confident in this doctor's abilities.
