Dr. David Thomas Ottenbaker, MD

I have him to thank for my still being alive today. He knew what to do when the specialists who performed my operation and the following severe staph infection didn't. I nearly died last May and would have had it not been for Dr Ottenbaker's actions. He's been my primary care physician for approx 29 years now and has my total trust and thankfullness. All those years of true in depth real care speak for themself not just the one incident. He's always been there for me when needed and always had shown real interest in my being in his office as a patient. Always takes the time to discuss any health issues I or we have and it helps so much. My wife of 50+ years is also his patient and has been for over 15 years now and she feels like I do about him. No, he's not God but neither am I however, he's always gone the extra mile and so has his nurses and office staff. Sure makes both my wife and I very happy to see him be promoted within Spectrum Health as it's so deserved. Of course,… we still are quite selfish and want Dr Ottenbaker to continue caring for our health needs and sure hope he will. Thank You Dr Ottenbaker!
