Dr. David N Oubre, MD

I had an appointment with the PA today for a follow-up visit. Because I didn't have the co-pay they refuse to see me. That is in my opinion unprofessional and rude. I refuse to go back to his office and we'll find another oncologist to finish my care.

Seemed nice when you could actually talk to him. Other than that, the man is pretty useless. After three nights in a hospital stay and things being placed on hold until he had his final word and still heard nothing from him. After making a formal complaint, he made promises of arriving a a specific time frame, but never showed or even had the decency to inform us of he was running late. About the only thing he’s good for is racking up more medical debt.

I had a horrible experience with him and others I've talked to have as well. To make a long story short, I was also going to MD Anderson and he disagreed with their treatment plan for me, and treated me lass than because I had already started treatment with them (I had to or my tumor would have cut off my blood flow to my brain). I kept him as my "back home: oncologist until he wouldn't refill my meds over Thanksgiving that I couldn't get to MD A for at the time. I switched form him asap after that. I'm sorry, but I also trust a specific specialist for my type of cancer than a general oncologist, no reason for him to disgree or treat patients differently for seeking another opinion when they have a life threatening diagnosis.

DR David Oubre, is the best cancer doctor that a person having cancer should go to, in our opinion he should be a 10 plus stars

I loved everything about Dr.Oubre from the first time I met him. He is sincere and dedicated. Thank you Dr.Oubre for all you do for me

He is wonderful with the elderly, very patient and kind. He talks to them even if caregiver is there. A rare gem in the medical world.
