Dr. David Jose Palencia, MD

The worst doctor office ever, very unprofessional and rude. They definitely do not care at all about patients conditions. I would not recommend this doctor and his staff.

Dr. Palencia awesome doctor I’ve been with him since the 90’s but the phone service extremely upsetting called several times was put on hold for more than 10mins needed results and medication that were suppose to be recieved Last Week Monday. Secretary never came back on to ask or speak to me in what regards was I needing to call. They seem so nice in office but the not giving you messages or picking up the calls not knowing if it was from a patient or another doctors office hurts your practice . Truthfully not upset for one call it was more than 5 calls in a matter of two weeks. Hopefully me listing my email Dr. Palencia will call me .back .

This doctor while seeming very cordial at first is actually one of the worst doctors I have ever been to . The initial fake concern is what really makes it unpleasant to be totally disregarded and let down by this physician later on . I have a chronic condition which comes on suddenly and sometimes becomes so severe that I need emergency prescription medication to treat it . The TWO times I was out of town and suddenly needed this medication the doctor refused to call into my pharmacy until I had come into see him . I explained that this was impossible but he absolutely refused to speak to me or do anything to help my situation . I have never seen a doctor or even just a person treat someone else's pain and illness with such disregard and lack of concern for my well being . I spent an entire day calling every 30 minuntes asking to speak with him so I can simply explain that while he's comfortably back in his office a flesh eating virus is consuming my face and will not stop u till he… makes a singe phone call to a pharmacy but this person calmly Ignored these cries for help and left his office at the end of the day , this continued for a week until I ended up in the emergency room , there after finding out that I do have instance the first question I was asked is " why didn't your pc call in a prescription for this medication ?" I had no answer for this other than he was on some sort of phcycitic control trip and demanded that before I revive my needed medication he will be able to bill my insurance for a visits that was 100% unnecessary for me but was used as leverage by this awful selfish unvarying person ! It's a difficult situation Becouse he really did seem kind and concerned at first but this is obviously some kind of act Becouse the two times I had really needed my doctor he was completely unconcerned with my health , physical or emotional well being . The emotional trauma of being ignored by your doctor just in the moment when u need him most are a big part of the healthcare issue . There were other straw factors that made it impossible for me to switch doctors on the fly and I was out state and DR Palencia was unfortunately my best option and he proved to be some kind of monster in a really nice office . I'm writing this Becouse I don't want others to be mislead by the appearances of this man or office or his nice secretary who just calmly assured me all day that he will be calling me back any minute . The whole expensive was just insulting and hurtful . By end of day pharmacies have been closed , his office was closed , his " emergency contact " number's mail box is full so I have no choice but to start the whole process of begging my physician for me medication All over again. Until ending up in emergency room as he suggested spending 12 hours waiting there untill a doctor saw me. Obviously this is unacceptable and I don't want anyone else to find themselves ever really needing DR Palencia for Medical treatment. He won't be there for you unless you come into his office and he can bill for that one phone call - to be clear this condition is on my file , every doctor I eve go to is explained that receiving my medication for this condition is basicaly most of what I would need them for . I'm vegan and otherwise very healthy. And sometimes having to deal with main stream medicine in these kinds of moments is always stressful but EVERY OTHER doctor I ever had was kind enough to call in my prescriptions when I need the medicine , especially if I was out of state . Or at least pick up the phone when I called . Palencia's behavior is UNACCEPTABLE !

Dr David Palencia, the first time i chose the right primary doctor, he checked everything and very care about my condition of Health , i do high recommend .

Dr. David Palencia is an unusually fabulous doctor. I highly recommend him for anyone needing a general care practitioner. I prefer natural cures over Western medicine, or at least in conjunction, and Dr. Palencia was very supportive of this. He created his practice in such a way as to facilitate real discussions with patients as opposed to the common practice of many modern doctors to jump in and out of appointments quickly. He also practices the old-fashioned yet time-tested palpation methods which many other doctors have given up in exchange for technological substitutes. He is extremely knowledgable in a wide array of medical issues and solutions to those issues. I'm so glad I found him!

I have had to do way too much follow up with this office for results, referrals, MD call back. He charges for every little thing, even getting copies of medical records, which a month later I am still waiting for follow up. Staff courtesy depends on their mood, and they are quick to rush you off phone. Worse, one of them has no idea what HIPPA means, and when I saw her in my neighborhood, she made sure to tell everyone I was a patient of hers. Still waiting for call back, follow up, results...
