Dr. David Francis Panting, MD

Dr Panting is a wonderful psychiatrist. He is compassionate, intelligent, and kind. He is willing to keep listening and trying until an effective treatment is reached. My life has definitely improved since I have been under his care. I trust him explicitly! Highly recommend!

THIS MAN DID NOTHING TO HELP MY DEPRESSION.... BUT WHEN MY ELDERLY MOTHER'S DOCTOR SUGGESTED SHE SEE HIM, I DECIDED I SHOULD GIVE HIM THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT. I WENT WITH MAMA, AND HE WAS RUDE AND ARROGANT EVEN TO THIS LOVELY, SWEET, GENTLE, 86 YEAR OLD LADY! HE DIDN'T DESERVE TO BE ON THE SAME PLANET, MUCH LESS IN THE SAME ROOM, WITH THIS WONDERFUL AND DEEPLY LOVED LADY!

My daughter scheduled an appointment and couldn't be seen for a month. When we got to the office, we were informed that Dr. Panting did not see patients under 21. She is almost 19. No one made her aware of that at the scheduling. They had cancelled her appointment without notifying her. She did have a date and time scheduled. The medical assistant at the desk acted as if we were crazy to be upset and used a demeaning tone. She was rude and disrespectful. It was a taxing experience for someone that is seeking professional help. If Dr. Panting's office staff is a reflection on his professionalism, then my daughter is probably lucky not to have had a session. It did put her back the month plus for care. It was a disaster.

After many years of treatment by 2 other doctors Dr. Panting correctly identified my condition, worked with various medication strengths, has me stabilized and most important he listens to me. I am much more able to deal with my issues and my life because of the treamtment and care Dr. Panting has provided.

I wanted to get an appointment for my son because the doctor is a member of the American Society of Addictive Medicine and he accepts Blue Cross. His receptionist told me someone would call me the next day. Did not get a call so I called them and was told that my phone was disconnected and that because I was from out of the county, they would not see my son. I had a doctor in Bradenton before and had no problem. I called them back from the disconnected phone.

Dr, Panting is an excellent listener and very professional and caring. He helped me a lot.
