Dr. David William Parker, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Parker’s for a little over four years now. Dr. Parker has truly been a god send for my Husband and I. We struggled with infertility for several years and went through numerous doctors who just wanted to slap me on birth control and call it a day. My previous doctors would also tell me that the pain I was feeling almost everyday was simply in my head. After several years of trying we ended up pregnant and lost our first baby to the hands of a doctor who couldn’t care less. This previous doctor told us that if we couldn’t have them, then we couldn’t have them and to come to terms with it. After this, we became pregnant again and immediately began searching for someone to help. We ended up learning about Dr. Parker through a coworker of mine whose sister had her baby saved by him. By the time we got in to see Dr. Parker we had started to lose our baby. Instead of giving up, Dr. Parker still tried everything in his power to try to save our baby. He did more… for us after seeing us for 20 minutes than any other doctor had in the years past. When Dr. Parker confirmed at our follow up appointment that we had for sure lost our baby he sat us down in a different room and spoke with us. He didn’t judge me for breaking down and didn’t tell me it wasn’t ideal anyway, like our previous doctor had. Instead, Dr. Parker listened and was beyond compassionate. I will forever be thankful that he stayed with us. It was the first time someone understood our heartbreak and pain and allowed us time to unload and grieve. My husband and I continued to see Dr. Parker after our loss. He had us use Creighton to help him understand what was going on with my body and what we needed to do to make everything function properly. During this time Dr. Parker was also able to tell me that the pain I was experiencing was due to my ovaries being cystic. I can’t begin to describe how grateful I was to have someone finally listen and provide a physical diagnosis for the pain I’d felt for so many years. To this day, the only reason my husband and I have two beautiful children in our lives is because of Dr. Parker. He has always been amazing at what he does! It’s honestly rare to find a doctor now days that has anywhere near as much compassion as him let alone find one that has the ability to think outside the box like he so often does.There are just not enough words to express how grateful my family is to have him in our lives. I will forever be thankful for all that Dr. Parker and his nurse Audrey have done and continue to do for our family. ??

I have been a patient of Dr. Parker's for nearly two years. I have referred may women I know to him and I would recommend him hands down. His knowledgeable, kind, compassionate. He diagnosed my endometriosis in one visit and he is working to ensure a pain free lifestyle for me going forward.

I was having some difficulty with fertility due to PCOS, I finally got pregnant and had a miscarriage. A coworker recommend I meet with this woman who teaches a natural family planning method. I went in skeptically, but was surprised at what I learned at the initial meeting, it wasn't even the class. I was thrilled to learn that there are doctors out there doing more than prescribing birth control pills/IUD or IVF. I fully planned on attending the class and subsequently trying to get an appointment with him, I'd heard it could be difficult as he is very busy. I ended up pregnant again before the class. I was terrified and excited. I called the woman who was teaching the class. She recommended I call and talk to the NaPro nurse and try to get in to see Dr Parker because sometimes with PCOS, the hormones imbalance can contribute to miscarriage. I got in to see him in 3 days. He and his nurse, Audry, are amazing. He discussed my history and fears and she drew blood for labs to check… hormone levels. He prescribed supplemental hormones and we scheduled an ultrasound for a few weeks later. At the ultrasound, we had a heartbeat. This pregnancy is viable. I cried. He prescribed continued hormone supplement and said he would be happy to follow me through the pregnancy, or I could go to my prior OB who is a closer to where I live. My appointment was delayed because he was delivering a baby, but that happens with OB appointments when you are definitely going to have the same Doctor deliver you as who followed you. Could not be happier with my experience, even if the pregnancy had failed again.

I’m not exaggerating when I say working with Dr. Parker changed my life. I had been experiencing years of infertility and had no answers. After meeting with Dr. Parker, he quickly suspected endometriosis and set up a treatment plan. Two months later, I was pregnant! His level of care and attention through my infertility and pregnancy was top notch. He is very accessible and focused during appointments, and his knowledgeable, even-keel manner was much appreciated throughout.

For my second pregnancy I chose to see Dr. Parker after not having a positive experience with prenatal care/hospital stay with my first. I felt like I had a more personal experience with care this time around. I never felt belittled or judged by him like some other doctors I have seen. He always remembered what we talked abput the previous visit. There were a couple times I had questions or concerns after office hours and the on call nurses paged him, and I received a phone call from him within 10 minutes both times. The night I called to tell him I was in labor he called me within 2 minutes. I didn't even have time to call my husband between talking to the nurse and him. I will continue to see him as my regular gynecologist as well as for any consecutive pregnancies (still to be determined ) :)

My daughter was referred to Dr Parker from her regular doctor she had severe pains in her stomach two days ago heavy bleeding we were very scared called his office several hours later received a call back from them saying he recommended a class for her to attend and since she did not go he would not see her well the end result was she had a miscarriage I would not recommend anyone to go to him he does not care about his patients and as far as I am concerned should not be practiceing medicine
