The most recent quarterly publication from the Academy of General Denistry has some very interesting articles about topics in today’s world of dentistry.  
The first article discusses some of the advantages of the Aloe Vera plant in dentistry. Researchers have recently used aloe vera tooth gel to eliminate disease-causing bacteria in the mouth. Click on the image to the left to read more about this new discovery.
Another article worth taking a look at is the one entitled “Tooth Erosion.” This one mentions some of the every day beverages that cause tooth decay and what one can do once they have tooth erosion.
This issue also features articles about Dental Technology, Cavities and Tooth Decay, and Men’s Oral Health.

DentalNotes Winter 2008 Issue
This issue of Dentalnotes (quarterly Dental articles put out by the Academy of General Dentistry) mentions quite a few interesting topics. The first article is about flouride and how bottled water can be detrimental to oral health. The next article is about gum disease and whether or not it can be attributed to heart disease. Another topic is Halitosis (bad breath) and how people can combat this. Seniors’ oral health is also mentioned as well as lasers in the dental office.
