Dr. David Anthony Pawlowski, MD

I’ve seen him one time in ten years of him being my primary care physician. My annual checkups are questionnaires about depression and bloodwork. Try to talk about your medical history or concerns and they’re disregarded. 30 years of my medical history is off the table because it’s ignored. I’ve never been actively scheduled to see the doctor, only saw him one time ever, another time when I was scheduled to see him they canceled an emergency appointment ten minutes after scheduling it. Try talking, they don’t listen. Try seeing a doctor, and you better ask. Not that the NPs aren’t awesome and completely respected, but sometimes it would be nice if a physician who is supposed to be your physician even knew your name. He’s not there to be your friend? Listen mr. 5 star review, it isn’t about friendship. It’s about learning more than what a tablet and your assistant tell you about in passing when you’ve never once met the people you’re billing the insurance company under the guise of… primary care. He’s a figment of your imagination. Try making him your primary and schedule an appointment. You’ll never see him unless you insist. The NP is fine, unless you want to see a doctor.

I have been a patient of Highgate Medical for over 30+ years and have always received prompt, accurate and courteous medical care. Dr. Pawlowski isn’t there to be ‘friends’ he’s a very doctor, listens to your issue(s) and provides excellent care.

Does not take time Shawn~Vaccaro listen to patient concerns. Only hears what he wants. Do not recommend...

What doctor perscribes Hydromorphone & Haloperidol decanoate & Ativan also together... Obviously it's a deadly mix I wonder how many have passed from this. Hmm

Mother was in hospital dies 4 days later because this guy never treated a bowel obstruction just kept giving an 80yr old opioid pain medication.for an false diagnosis of cancer, Then dies from an overdose of daluadid! Thrown in hospice for 4hrs. Then get call saying mother passed.This guy shouldn't be a doctor. Or gugino....

I have been a patient of Dr. Pawlowski for many years, he’s to the point, concisely outlines his best treatment plan and makes every effort to get you healthy again quickly.

It's true. I've been there several times over the past few years, and I only saw him on my initial visit. Let me ask you this: Why do Doctors stand on the other side of the room when they see you? Makes me feel like he's afraid of getting cooties. My old Doctor did that as well. I promise I showered!! PA's are pretty caring, except this one that I think recently became a Doctor. She'd rather sit on her high horse and reprimand you for not having all of your preventative care done, then threaten you that you will be kicked out of their practice if you don't. She never showed any true concern for the reason for my visit.

I love it here, and have been going to this doctor for 6 years. Although, I have never even seen Dr. Pawlowski, my experience has been exceptional. The PAs have helped me immensely. Dr. Pawlowski is listed as my Primary Care doctor, and I am okay with not seeing him because the PAs are very competent.

Professional and yet concerned and approachable

Office staff is both incompetent and rude. Final straw was when they refused to refill my maintenance Rx because the girl did not recognize the doctor's name that had retired. She insisted I must have went to a different Doctor (so why it is in your files?) and needed to call them for a refill. Once the office manager straightened her out, they still tried to cover their mistake by insisting I needed an appointment before they could refill. I had just been there 3 month earlier for full physical, but didn't need the refill at that time.
