Dr. David R Pearce, DDS

I came from an excellent dentist in Maryland, keeping up with my dental care. I had a couple fillings come out and called their office to see if they took my insurance. First mistake. They told me yes, I am told I need 4 crowns. 4!!!! Never had a problem with my teeth. My gut told me get a second opinion. I sit down and talk to the finance person who says my insurance pays 50% up to $1500. A crown is 1600. Ok, so like 800 per crown, 2 one year, 2 the next. I waited. Had some pain start. Went in, was told I needed a root canal. My fault, I get it. When I was setting up my appointments to get the crown she then tells me that They don't participate with my insurance. That if my insurance pays 800 towards the Crown that means they will pay 400 and I'm responsible for 1200. Needless to say I found another dentist who participates. This dentist Tell me I need one Crown and 3 fillings!!! Dr Pearce's staff didn't even discuss filling my cavities. All they care about is the $$$. Terrible… care.

I had an appointment with Dr. Pearce yesterday to get two crowns on wisdom teeth. I got to the office 10 minutes early and they took me right away. The staff treat you so nicely- it's like you are family. I tend to 'white knuckle' the arm rest in the dentist chair during any procedure due to an ingrained habit from a lifetime of years and years of painful treatment from different dentists. Dr. Pearce joked with me about it which actually helped me to relax inside because there is Never a reason to do it when he is working on you. He is extremely caring that you have the most comfortable and painless experience when you come to his office which means a lot to me. Thank You Dr. Pearce- You are Awesome! Dr. Pearce and his staff are the best! As a lifelong dental coward, I have never felt at ease at any dental practice until now. From the moment you walk in until the second you leave, everyone is professional, courteous and kind. They truly care for their patients, always inquiring if I'm comfortable or asking if I need anything. Dr. Pearce even called me at the night of my surgery to see how I was doing. I highly recommend this practice to everyone!

I was in ex stream pain had an appointment on may8th I called the office to see if they could see me that monday1 they worked me in the schedule without hesitation. Never was a patient at this practice my appointment for May 8th was going to be for a new patient consult to go over what I needed and what my future plan of care was going to be. Dr Pearce was extremely professional ,went over everything he was going to do as well as comforting me in the stress I was under. I will recommend dr Pearce. I thank him for all he has done but most of all the kindness. Never felt I took a number waited to be called,placed in the room what can I do for you in and out and have a good day.

Great place for the newest procedures and always pleasant experience

I had damaged my snoring device, and Amanda was so very helpful. She made adjustments so that it was comfortable and fit perfectly. The device improves my ability to sleep and the adjustment made sleeping easier. It was done in minutes. Thanks.

I went to this dentist for several years. I have always been told my teeth are well cared for and the entire time going here was told the opposite. I chalked it up to getting older. Once I finally left and found a new dentist the only work that has been needed is to correct the work done by this dentist. After paying 50% as in the contract I was billed 2x for work that was not complete and even threatened to be sent to collections. They had a cancellation and called and asked if I could come in early. Living only a mile away I said sure and went straight to the office where I sat for 45 minutes without a word from office staff. When dentist and assistant had trouble setting a crown and it took longer than expected both staff were out the back door before I had even walked to the front to leave. Don't pay attention to the radio ads and his extensive advertising. This guy only cares about the bottom line.

Everyone at Dr. Pearce's office are wonderful.

I have had several dentists over the years, but Dr. Pearce is by far the best. He is very gentle and explains everything. Dr. Pearce and all of his staff are friendly and attentive.
