Dr. David Andrew Peters, MD

Dr. Peters is totally focused on open interaction with his patients to ensure their treatment is helping them achieve and sustain a comfortable level of psychological functionality. He follows up with patients via phone calls to further ensure they are following and benefiting from the agreed upon treatment plan. Dr. Peters will be there when/if you need him, and that is a vital and comforting aspect of psychological treatment.

Both my husband and I are retired psychotherapists. My husband has Alzheimer's and is in an assisted living facility. Dr. Peters is most helpful and I feel takes a personal interest in my husband's issues and MINE as well. He is responsive. He returns phone calls. He is prompt to contact the facility when med changes or "doctor's orders" are needed. I feel he CARES.

Great Dr's are hard to find this is a great one. Only complaint is the building in which his office is located in is NOT HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE this is 2011 I didn't think buildings like these are still around they are....

Dr. Peters understands and treats patients living with brain injury. He approaches medication management cautiously (doesn't over medicate) and keeps on top of possible symptoms and adverse affects from medications or combination's there of. He talks with you, not at you.He is caring, though recommends counselors to work out the major head issues through talk therapy.

Superb diagnostician, excellent treatment plans and results.

Dr. helped me with my husband when he had dementia. He was very generous with his time. In an emergency, he somehow always had time to call back. We never felt that there was anything more important to him than we were at the time. I have never seen him upset. Last year, when my neighbor had a meltdown, he managed to fit her in, and was instrumental in having her hospitalized, and properly medicated, when her own doc had no idea what to do. I worked in the medical field 22 years, I know many excellent doctors, but I haven't met anyone to top him. God bless him
