Dr. David John Peterson, DO

It's sad that this guy can't read x-rays! Missed a big one on my wifes knee. I would stay away from this doctor.

My knee is only marginally better than it was pre-surgery. I still have problems on the inside and outside portions and also on just about exactly half of the patella. I cannot get down "on all fours" as it is too painful on the surgery knee. I went to see Peterson at the six month mark (I'm now slightly past the eighth month) - he kept me waiting at least half an hour, was dismissive and defensive and told me to give it a year. The x-ray he had on the screen in the examination room was from before the surgery, not after. Why do you suppose this was? Could he have been hiding something? There has been no improvement for months and, in fact, I feel the knee has regressed. I do not plan to go back to Peterson and cannot recommend him. I'm seriously considering visiting another orthopod to see if I can get some insight as what is wrong and whether it is fixable.
