Dr. David Joseph Piatok, MD

I was unable to obtain an appointment with an endocrinologist for months so I Googled Physicians nearby and found Dr. Piatok. He is extremely knowledgeable; takes time with each patient; has a very homey calming manner; and, schedules appointments quickly. He diagnosed my issue, ordered appropriate blood work and prescribed medicine that resolved the issue which my family doctor had difficulty doing.

Dr Piatok, answered all my questions and is very knowledgeable. He helped Identify that I need vitamin B and D supplements which my previous Dr. of 3 years never attempted to observe. His staff are very helpful and friendly

Dr Piotak takes the time to explain everything to you. He is very thorough. It was very easy for me to schedule my appointments with him and his receptionists were helpful. Would definitely reccommend him!

I am a patient of Dr Piatok and have been for a long time. Dr Piatok is notorious for giving all patients more time than most doctors today. Dr Piatok is a great doctor. While Dr Piatok' office is not as bad as the others mentioned, even if it were I'd take a good doctor and less pain of over a beautiful office luscious office any day.My health means more to me than anything.

I have been to the highpoint building and have never had a complaint..Had my biopsy in that office right on spot....I had another appointment last week in the NEW office in new britain..Gosh I was appauld but how dirty the place was .Everything was dusty/dirty the floors didnt look like they were vacuumed for months..I didnt even see a proper exam room..Office looks very unproffesional. While even sitting talking to dr notice his desk was so dirty you could write in the dust not normal for a doctors office.The staff didnt seen very tidy either. I dont want doctors and staff to take care of me when they dont even take care of themselves.Was so glad he didnt perform a biopsy that day as i felt where was this even gonna happen in the office with his desk?? Where is the patient rooms...Bathroom was also dirty ..I didnt go on but seen paper towels on floor... had a few white tables with drawers that were all busted up..Really felt uncmfortable at this visit!!! Definitly looking for a new… doctor.I cant believe a doctors office would be this bad...Come in 1/2 hr early run vacuum and wipe everything down...This place hasnt been cleaned in weeks its obvious not accetable for any office let alone a doctors office...

Dr. Piatok is extremely intelligent and highly respected by my primary doctor who also is wonderful. He is patient and explains everything. He has a terrific bedside manner. He performed a biopsy in his office. So amazingly painless compared to the hospital!! Office staff is very nice. There is a wait to schedule an appointment sometimes a month but that is because he is highly sought after.

I have been calling since last Wednesday with no luck.Keep getting answering machine to leave message.Says to talk to somone in office and I push that and it rings then goes to answering machine.I have left 3 messages and need to make an appointment as I have a growth on my thyroid gland that has grown significantly.The hospital sent reults of ultrasound and still got no call back :( If I dont hear by tomorrow I have to change my thyroid specialist and start over.My doctor wants a biopsy don again...I cant believe I cannot even talk to someone in office to find out what the next step or to even schedule an appointment...If the office is too busy they need to hire somone else to answer phone calls...Very frustrated
