Dr. Pillis is a knowledgeable, professional and very caring emergency room physician.

Giving him 1 star because zero stars is not an option. This physician is an arrogant self important monster and I imagine the amount of patients who die from the “care” he provides is probably staggering. I have sent a patient to the emergency room 3 times to have her put under his care, not listened to her, not have her symptoms investigated, and have him write her off and dismiss her without doing his job. The first time she was having a stroke and the second time she had the biggest blood clot I have ever seen on a radiology report which was so large the radiologist hand wrote in her report “wow!!!”. This time despite severe cardiac symptoms he didn’t even investigate, he said she was pain seeking for reporting crushing chest pain and refused to listen to her or run labs or any kind of testing. I am very sure she has an occlusion in her heart and she has an extensive history of blood clots and is on palliative care so had not asked for or needed pain medication because she has… pain medication prescribed to her. Based on all the reviews I’ve read on every site to rate doctors it sounds like this is how he treats everyone but it’s unacceptable and the reason that patients don’t trust their providers. Twice this man has refused to do his job and another doctor at another hospital who actually cared about patient care quickly prooved in just this one patient that Dr Pillus shouldn’t be practicing medicine because she could have died from his lack of care and concern… I pray she doesn’t die from this third egregious refusal to perform his duties as a physician.
