Dr. Post is an honest and compassionate dentist I am very happy he was recomended ti me.

The first time I saw Dr. Post, he was very kind and explained what I should do about my swollen gum on the right side. The 2nd time I went to have the hygienist to do a cleaning and I didn't feel like she did a good job. Nothing came out of my mouth after rinsing 2x and I smoke 1/2-1 pack of cigarettes a day. When the Hygienist finished I asked her if Dr. Post was coming in to do the oral exam. She went out of my room and spoke with him. When she came back she said, "he said he checked all your teeth the last time you were here.:" I told her he did not, he only checked my swollen right lower gum. She went back to talk with Dr. Post, and when he came in the room I was in, he was very annoyed and said "I'm with another patient right now." Well, that wasn't my fault he was with another patient. I told him I didn't feel like I got a good cleaning because when I rinsed nothing came out and asked him about the cleaning and if she was a good hygienist and he confirmed yes to both… questions. I've had a private dentist in the past that was a one-man office and he went from room to room to work on his patients. When one person had anesthesia waiting to begin working, this other doctor would then check on another one of his patients, but it's apparent to me that Dr. Post can only handle one patient at a time and he never looked over all my teeth because I told him my gum was still hurting me after I followed his instructions of how to care for the gum. The next day, I received a letter from him, dismissing me from his practice and advising me to see another dentist as soon as possible. based on the fact that I questioned the cleaning and past dental records I provided to him which showed many dentists I've seen over many years which he probably judge me for, but it wasn't my fault that when I retired, my company cut the dental benefits so I've seen some really lousy dentists and then had to change plans to get a better dentist. I didn't think my questioning the cleaning warranted him dismissing me from his practice, but I was wondering about his credentials since he has no licenses on the walls and no awards for being an outstanding dentist. His long hair, makes him look like a 1960's "hippie," which I didn't think was very professional for a Dentist and I was wondering what kind of reviews he has gotten, reason for me to be on his website now. A friend who recommended him to me, when I told her that I didn't feel I got a good cleaning, she agreed with me, and said she didn't feel like she got a good cleaning either, so I'm glad it wasn't just me who felt this way. I'm surprised at all the good reviews his hygienist has gotten; could it just be my friend and me to be odd-balls that we didn't feel we got a good cleaning? I don't know and I was disappointed that he dismissed me from his practice because now I see he has excellent credentials and I was in walking distance to his office from where I live. Dr. Post is an excellent dentist. The office staff is helpful and courteous. His dental hygienist is top notch. There is virtually no wait time, he puts his patient immediately at ease and is completely thorough. I highly recommend this dental office.

Great Dentist. Friendly, courteous and efficient. He is there for you 24/7 should an emergency arrive.

GREAT STAFF INCLUDING THE DOCTOR

Dr Post is the only dentist I can honestly say I enjoy going to see. Takes care of my wimpy low pain tolerance, is incredibly well-skilled, but his personality and "bedside manner" are second to none. Both technically and personally an outstanding dentist. His hygienist is also terrific!
