Dr. David Michael Powell, MD

Dr. Powell was over my spouses care. Both he and his nurse practitioner, Leslie dropped the ball on several reoccurrence of his cancer which lead to his death. Dana Hoot was fabulous helping with grants and paperwork.

Dr Powell and I had a lengthy discussion about tests he wanted before my next appointment in 3 months. Not only did he not order the test, it wasn't in his office notes. Perhaps charting should be done before patient leaves. I asked about the ct scan at check out and was told the orders had not been put in. I have cancelled my appointment.

I felt as though Dr Powell over stepped his area of expertise. I went to him for a blood clot and he wanted to continue to treat me for a torn tendon. He also scheduled an unnecessary panel of blood work when all I was seeing him for was a ultrasound follow up.
