Dr. David Debandi Pratt, MD

Dr. Pratt was my family Doctor for 15 years. He always has a positive attitude and very personable. My family really liked him and we were sorry to see him go to a concierge practice.

Dr. Pratt has ben seeing me for 6 years. If I had relied on his hands-off approach to a physical the cancer that was diagnosed by others would have gone unnoticed. His approach to medicine is to read and discuss one's blood work results. He does only a cursory viewing, with minimal and touching, of one's body. He does not probe nor touch the sensitive areas (prostate, scrotum, breasts etc.) but rather asks if you have any problems in these areas. If you want a hands-off physician then by all means go to him!

Dr. Pratt is one of many physicians I have frequented in the past 5 years on a regular basis. Dr. Pratt, by far, is the most empathic and dedicated physician of the five I see regularly. I feel Dr. Pratt, always orders what tests are necessary and he always takes time to explain any medical condition

I've been seeing Dr. Pratt for maybe 10 years (?), and I couldn't ask for better treatment. He meets your eyes, talks to you like a normal person, respects your input and preferences, explains all of the options, and isn't afraid to admit when he doesn't know something and refer you to a specialist. I always get the feeling that he actually loves his job - I've never has an appointment where I felt merely tolerated. When I started to get sick and we didn't know what was wrong, he referred me to several different specialists until we figured it out. It took 6 months to get a diagnosis, which is relatively fast for my illness. Since the cause is still unknown, and there is no one treatment that works for all patients, we've ended up trying different approaches. He doesn't discourage me from doing my own research, and he doesn't dismiss my ideas simply because they are not his (although he has gently talked me out of the riskier ones). I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'm not… an easy patient, and I've yet to have an experience with Dr. Pratt where he hasn't brought his A-game.

4 1/2 years ago I went to Dr.Pratt for my physical. He found a lump in my breast ( I was only 32) and reacted right away. I was immediately sent for a mammogram. There was no "let's wait and see" he was on top of my care from the get. I had no family history of cancer and was in great shape, not to mention very young. It turned I had breast cancer. I am not sure if I would be alive today if it wasn't for Dr. Pratt. He genuinely cared for me and acted promptly and professionally. He sees my grandmother, my husband and several of my friends. He gives great care to all of us.
