Dr. David M Privitera, MD

I felt Dr Privitera was very compassionate to my needs. He made you feel comfortable on his decision for you. What I like is he contacts you after surgery and keeps open communication if needed. The office is very accommodating since it is on one floor, well lit, good staff to great you while entering, easy to make an appointment. The doctor was on time. I would recommend Dr. Privitera

I have had orthopaedic surgery on my hip and hands from Doctors associated with the other large health system in Rochester, NY.. Dr Privitera performed a rotator cuff repair, he is associated with the competing system. I sought him out on the advice of a physical therapist I was working with for my shoulder. Dr Privitera is far and away the best surgeon I worked with from the patient's point of view. He explained the problem, his methods, his reasoning and he was easy to work with. I research any medical procedure in depth before I undergo anything and get a second opinion. For my surgery with Dr Privitera, I got a second opinion from the head of shoulder surgery orthopaedics in the competing health care system. Dr. Privitera's information was right up to date and absolutely consistent with current medical practice. My outcome has been very very good, I am 7 months past surgery and starting to play tennis again and do all the activities I love. Dr Privitera is such a good physician… and took time to answer the many questions I had. Highly, highly recommended.

7/13/2016 Dr. Privitera is a wonderful surgeon. I would give him a 5 out of 5 rating. (Staff can be a bit grumpy at the Culver Road location.) He explains things thoroughly, and is knowledgeable, understanding and extremely pleasant. Very down to earth guy. My surgery went very well and after care has been excellent. I would highly recommend him.
