Dr. David Alan Rankin, MD

I had an explant with Dr. Rankin and could not be happier with the experience or results. After years of research, I booked in 2023 and waited 18 months, a true testament to his reputation and skill. Even from 10 hours away, everything, from consultation to pre-op, was seamless, thanks to Lauren, my explant concierge. On surgery day, my care team, Tasha & Betsy, explained everything thoroughly and kept me completely at ease. I opted for a nerve block and IV hydration, was the first case at 6 AM, and was finished in about 3.5 hours. Pain was minimal. I never even filled my prescription! Post-op, Dr. Rankin personally called me the first night, and Tammy did my follow-ups and drain checks with kindness and thoroughness. Instructions were clear, practical, and very helpful. At just 1.5 weeks, I can breathe easier, my fatigue is down, bloating/inflammation has decreased, and I finally feel aligned with my health.

Botched implant removal. Promised En bloc removal. No attempt. Wrong incision. Semi breast lift with huge dents in lower breasts. He refused to see me again after I asked why? He made up that I was rude to his staff as an excuse. I had to go to the ER twice. No post op care. He had my reviews on real self taken down. Filthy office. Run away!

Amazing experience

I am a 60 year old woman who recently had a mini TT and mini Face lift. I am could not be happier with my results. Dr Rankin went above my expectations, and I can not believe how well everything already looks! I am so excited for summer and swim suit time!!! He is so professional and kind, I could not have asked for a better experience from him and his caring staff.

I was referred to this doctor for an implant exchange, BIG MISTAKE. At the consult I was advised this was a simple procedure. My implants were to be removed and replaced with the same type and size implants. Because of botched cases I saw on TV, I needed to be totally informed about my procedure. At a second consult,I was reassured that this was a simple procedure. Take old ones out, put new ones in. Post surgery I now have 2 different sized breasts. In addition, my left breast practically sits under my arm pit. Questioned about the result, the doctor now says I told you about the possible adverse results because you had radiation. At each consult my husband was present and neither of us heard him say anything about possible abnormal results. I also asked why I received saline when I requested silicone. His answer was "miscommunication". I asked him how we could fix this problem. He said everything was fine and left the room. I never heard from him or the office again, I have since… seen 2 board certified plastic surgeons who have given me treatment options to correct my problem. I would not recommend this doctor. He has no bed side manner. shows no compassion and he is dishonest.

While I was waiting I noticed there was like a blood smeared on the wall, there was blood smeared on the cushion pillow that you lay your head on, and there was human hairs all over the floor. For being such a high rated office cleanliness and sanitation should be a priority!

I wish that i had taken more time to find the right doctor- Dr. Rankin is THE WORST. I had a mini TT and my belly button is now down to my c section line- i look like a freak! When i first noticed how low my belly button was i told him about it and he said not to worry i’m still healing just give it time.... well it’s been about 2 years now.. it’s freakishly low! There are a few more things that he did that make me feel like crying my eyes out because i’m so angry that i paid for this nonsense. Every time i look in the mirror i’m so regretful of having let him work on my body. I just hope that somehow this can all be fixed.. one day...

I love Dr. Rankin and his whole team! The office is beautiful and his staff was very helpful every step of my surgery. I would never go any where else!

Dr. Rankin and his staff are incredible. I flew from VA - FL just to have my surgery preformed by him. I suffered from BII. I went to him to remove my implants, he also performed his wrap around technique that he created . Not only did he give me my life back but even without implants I look incredible. Honestly I love my all natural look more then when I had my implants and that’s all thanks to him . He works magic ladies . So if your looking for the BEST . Look no further .
