Dr. Reinhard is a very good doctor, however, his office staff does not have any customer service. Dr. Reinhard specializes in diabetes and thyroid problems, so the very fact that the majority of his patients suffer with an autoimmune diseases, you would think that his staff was a bit more curteous. The staff does not follow-up on faxed information regarding treatment options and they do not return calls. And if your bold enough to question them on these items, you are given a attitude that leads you to the point of frustration.

I've been a patient of Dr. Reinhard for about five uears. Dr. Reinhard is an old school physician. He has lots of knowledge and shares it sparingly. That said, I've never seen him be wrong about anuthing and he has a good reputation within Mt. Sinai Hospital, where he keeps his office.The big downside is his staff. The receptionists tend to be young girls who always appear to be overwhelmed and who don't follow through with patient requests, even to the point of causing breaks in the reorder of prescriptions (has happened multiple times). If extra steps are required, such as special authorizations, only doggedly calling them will ensure follow-through. You begin to feel like you're being a pain in the @$$, but otherwise your business doesn't get done. Additionally, some of the staff overflows with attitude, loke they really have better places to be than, say, drawing your blood.

So, calling Dr REINHARD, DAVID for an appt on my PCP refferrals, the assistant is having problems with their new system and they tell me to call next day, i did, left a cell number since they were very busy to call me back, they never did. 30 days later once i had the opportunity to speak with them again, they cannot talk to me again cause they phone lines were on 4 people on hold, if i have an issue to speak with Maria the manager whos not available at the moment, this stablishment is a joke!
