My experience with Dr. Rivadeneira from the initial pre-surgery visit to my last post-operative visit was very positive. He took my health concerns seriously and spent time reviewing my diagnosis and subsequent surgery carefully and explained everything in detail with me. He showed compassion, empathy, and of course knowledge and imparted this to me in the most positive way possible. I unquestionably recommend Dr. Rivadeneira to anyone in need of services.

I had diverticulitis three times over the past year and a half, and after my third episode, I decided to see a surgeon, Dr. David Rivadeneira. He recommended surgery to remove the section of my colon where the diverticulitis was occurring. I had the surgery on June 8th, and I have to admit, I was very, very scared. But today, August 18th, I can honestly say that I feel great! Dr. Rivadeneira was wonderful. His bedside manner was exceptional, and his surgical expertise was equally impressive. He made me feel comfortable and confident throughout the entire process. I highly recommend Dr. Rivadeneira to anyone experiencing problems with their gastrointestinal tract. My name is Randi Grigio. I am a 67 year old female who had Diverticulitis of the large intestine with perforation and abscess. I went into septic shock and was placed on life support due to multi-organ failure. I spent 4 weeks in ICU, two weeks in a rehab and finally returned home with nursing care for several months. I was referred to Dr. Rivadeneira by my Gastroenterologist because I was seeking a Hartman's reversal (colostomy). Dr. Rivadeneira is a very skilled and gifted surgeon.
