A quadruple by-pass surgery required a second anesthesia to repair a bleeding leak. Things went well for a little while but loss of energy & stamina sent us back to cardiologist where we learned that 2 of 4 by-passes had failed because Dr Robo used compromised veins that he should not have used. Explanation was that this had never happened to HIM before. Go elsewhere.

I was lucky enough to be introduced to Dr Robo when my husband needed open heart surgery. Everyone at the practice, floor and on his team treats patients with dignity and respect. His assistant Mac will make sure Dr Robo hears your concern when you call the office. Best doctor I’ve come across in the state of Maine. So happy that his friend talked him into coming to Maine.

I was indeed fortunate to connect with Dr Robo before I had any heart attack damage...He replaced both my heart valves with cow replacements and did 3 bypasses all in one operation. I am 72 years old and it has been a process getting my strength back which is my own fault because I tend to be a sedentary person. For anyone contemplating surgery of this kind I can truly say I didn't suffer any severe pain from the surgery.. I did however suffer complications such as kidney failure and pneumonia a few weeks later.. But today all is well and every day is a blessing.. I am so thankful for Dr. Robo...He had a great sense of humor while getting across the seriousness of the circumstances. He told me I wouldn't live 2 years without the surgery. My worst side effect was having a huge personality change but have been 99% restored to my old self....

Chose Dr. Robo b/c he came highly recommended. Quad by-pass where two by-passes failed says otherwise.
