Dr. Robbins has been my OB/GYN for 16 years. Over the years he has delivered my two babies, which were both complicated pregnancies. He did my hysterectomy this year. And theough it all he has been extremely caring, compassionate, and thorough. I consider myself so blessed to have him as my doctor, and highly recommend him to women of any age!

Dr Robbins has delivered 3 out of 6 of my kids and I have never experienced such a well mannered doctor. If you want someone who actually cares about your needs and personal well being, you should be with him.

Dr. Robbins is without a doubt the best OBGYN in the business. He goes above and beyond for all of his patients. He delivered both my babies. He listened to my concerns and celebrated every milestone. He also recently did my hysterectomy. I was terrified but he walked me back in to the operating room. He held my hand and made sure I was comfortable and safe feeling. He was more than a doctor that day. I cannot say enough about how amazing he is. I recommend him to anyone looking for someone who truly cares about his patients.

Dr Robbins preformed my C-section in 2009. I was left with with a large mass on my left side after and told at it was swelling and would go away. During my 4 week check up I was told by Dr Robbins “I don’t know what’s it is but we can do surgery and see” . That same day I went to my regular GP to see if she could shed some light on the softball sized lump. She told me it was my intestines and that she could put her whole hand inside my body. She called a surgeons who wanted to see me ASAP. (This was a Friday so the soonest I could see him was Monday) I saw the surgeon and was informed that I had a massive hernia and was scheduled for surgery on Wednesday. Upon opening me up it was discovered that my fascia had been pulled to tight after my c-section an of had ripped open. I was open on the inside from hip bone to hip bone all the way past my belly button. The damage was so extensive that they could not repair using my fascia and has to use a 6x6 piece of mesh. I was told after my… final repair of Dr. Robbins mess that I would never be able to carry another baby and that I would live with chronic pain. It took me 11 weeks to recover from that surgery and chances are I’ll need more in the future because mesh doesn’t last forever. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

I love my OBGYN! He delivered my first son 11 years ago, will deliver my second this year, was my doctor here in Rangely when I was a teenage girl, and he is the funniest, sweetest guy ever! Maybe it's our 22 years together but he is like family to me and I never feel uncomfortable in his presence. If you're in the market for one, Dr. David S. Robbins is a kind, caring professional.

David Robbins is an excellent obstetrician and gynecologists. He delivered two of my children, a niece and nephew and three of my grandchildren. He is a very caring Dr. and man. I don’t know what my family would do without him.

I went to Dr. Robbins based on a recommendation for my first pregnancy and at first I was happy with the choice. He is personable and knowledgeable, but my interactions with his nurse and his office were a different story. Wait times were long, his nurse/assistant came off as cold and often rude to me, and when I called with a question I always had to go through her and never got to speak directly with Dr. Robbins. I stuck it out through the first pregnancy and now, by default I am back for my second. I am having the same problems only worse this time around. I believe the practice lost a Doctor and they are completely overwhelmed. They have messed up multiple tests, given me bad information, failed to follow-up and had to reschedule my mid-pregnancy ultrasound for a MONTH later at the last minute due to their ultrasound tech quitting. I don't know what is going on there anymore, but I am searching for a new Doctor. It's just not worth feeling like I am a burden rather than a… patient.

I saw Dr. Robbins for my second pregnancy. At first my husband and I really liked him, he seemed very knowledgeable and nice, even funny. Then we suffered a miscarriage, which he was comforting about on the day we found out. When I went for my follow-up appointment after the miscarriage he was a different man. He was very rude, demeaning and criticizing. I was so baffled because it was all so unexpected. He made me leave the office in tears, so hurt by his words. I will never return to him. I know others that have had good experiences with him, which is why I was so shocked at how he treated me. It sounds like he is great if things are going the way he prefers. As long as your health goes well, and you don't disagree with any of his comments you will probably be fine with him, but if anything should change, make sure you have thick skin. A side note: the office staff was wonderful the entire time, they helped a lot.

I was transported to St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction from a small town an hour away after my water broke at 33 weeks gestation. It was my first pregnancy, and my husband and I were so frightened. We were assigned to Dr. Robbins and were quickly put at ease. Dr. Robbins is calm, very compassionate, and thoroughly competent. With his help I was able to give the baby a few more weeks in utero and then safely and naturally deliver a beautiful, healthy baby boy. Dr. Robbins came to check on me almost every day when I was in the hosptal, even his days off. One day he couldn't come in, so he asked his associate to look in on me. I wish we lived in Grand Junction so that I could see Dr. Robbins for my next pregnancy!
