Dr. David Emerson Root, MD

I have no problem with Dr. Root, but his staff and office practices are abysmal. For my first visit last month, I waited over an hour, and had to leave before I was examined b/c there was no time to be seen before I had to return to work. (I let the staff know when I needed to leave, and they did not inform me of the delay) Today, I was informed that he was not in the office when I got to my appointment. The receptionist said that she called me last week to cancel my appointment. However, there are message machines at my office, at home, and I have voice mail on my cell service. No message, just excuses. Do not book an appointment with Dr. Root, unless you want to experience frustration at the hands of his lazy and useless staff.

This guys office is the worst medical office I've ever been to. His nurses were walking in and out of the room with their gloves on then were trying to touch my open wound. Then the doctor tried to touch and clean my open wound without gloves. His bedside etiquette is horrible. I wouldn't want this guy to treat anyone.
