If I could give him a zero I would & that would be giving him too much credit. I have never in my life (having been seriously ill since a child) have I ever been treated w/by such a vile, vulgar, rude, aggressive, presumptuous “physician”. This he seeks out & thrives on conflict w/the sickest patients whose care he’s entrusted with, he goes out of his way to speak w/complete disrespect, obscenities galore, he is incapable of listening & he was solely to follow care instructions from the internist of over 20 yrs.experience treating specific conditions, should’ve been on auto-pilot but he even drove his colleagues to their breaking point & he was removed from my care- not that he respected that first request then order . Everything written by these other reviewers doesn’t do his failure to uphold his oath justice. Yet it’s shocking his behavior is tolerated as he is as disrespectful & vile to every staff member & patient’s family who are facing the most stressful, sad & difficult times… of their lives & he is allowed to compound this exponentially & repeatedly. It’s the worst kept secret in the hospital where the nurses & case mgrs. begged we write in as they deal w/the reprecussions of his non-stop intent to cause distress like it’s a compulsion he simply can’t resist or he is sadistic & enjoys the pain he inflicts likely both. I think he’s a walking liability to the practice & hospital. He’s got be the loudest, thus in his delusions, this makes him the smartest person in the room (he’s a legend in his own mind). The reality is he is the least respected, most complained of & refused hospitalist in Presbyterian Dallas. It’s so wrong & sad the patients who are the unwilling captive hostages, & not the patients they should be, pay for this man’s obvious & poorly treated mental illness. It’s such outrageous behavior it’s very obvious he should (if not already under mandated counseling) be under the care of a psychiatrist to treat his non-stop hostile & mean-spirited verbal abuse at each & every interaction w/the patient & their family members & hospital staff. He was asked to be taken off the care of the sweetest now deceased (died w/i weeks) 82 yr. old man who couldn’t lift his head, what could possibly justify this man’s despicable behavior towards his wife of nearly 60 yrs. & the dear man who didn’t live past the end of the month? A caseworker was request immediately no one wanted this man anywhere near his room his mere presence gives off bad energy. The case mgr. apologized profusely & asked we write in, that she spent far too much time dealing w/this same issue w/this same doc everyday & just wanted everyone to feel safe. That hit a nerve no one left, no one felt safe as he kept “popping in the room” to let us know he was furious we had the audacity as “lay people” to want to protect our loved ones from his campaign of terror & intimidation. We finally called for help again when it became clear he took pleasure in inflicting pain on others when he was clearly so self-destructive & we were assured security would watch for his return & he did return so what does that say about this man, his employer & how his compulsion to reign down misery on anyone that has a difference of opinion or wants their patient rights, respected & enforced which he simply can’t & won’t honor even punitively withholding pain medications from a patient dying & right out of surgery. He was finally physically removed from the floor & we were assured he would not return, but we all remain traumatized to this day. Why is such a deeply troubled individual, a clear liability to the patients this hospital gives him access to & the parent company (THR) allowed to do far more harm than good, is the oath he took less important or are you waiting until he actually physically assaults a patient or family member? He came w/i inches before he was escorted out - if every doctor, nurse, case worker, patient care tech, surgeon, etc. speaks so openly of his horrible reputation, how long before he will cross this line? This comes from a family w/the utmost respect for the majority of physicians that did & do provide outstanding, ethical & kind care everyday. While this man tarnishes & creates anxiety and pain everywhere he goes, and he sees drug seekers in EVERY SINGLE PATIENT, maybe hits a nerve w/him who denies an 82 yr. old advanced brain cancer patient pain medication citing “drug seeking behavior” he was in agony & died w/i a few weeks. He should live with 1/10th of the pain. Refuse his care, ask for Dr. Seigomundo (sp?), he took over they were like night & day, Dr. Seigomundo was incredibly kind, patient & a far better doctor in every way he truly cares about his patients. How they work in the same group makes us respect him even more, everyone in the hospital had only the best to say about him. Just don’t kid yourself & think Rosenstein will be different for you, in our extensive experience & reading others reviews we wish we had known then what we know now, he’s damaged beyond anybody’s ability to help (which he will scream so close to your face his spit will enter your mouth) so he’s unlikely to benefit from help b/c he’s incapable of listening before he interrupts w/some vulgarity. He followed my mother into the OR screaming the entire way as my brothers physically held him back, security was called. He’s just a bully in scrubs who does the title doctor a huge disservice. If you’re Rosenstein & reading this SHAME ON YOU, get some self-respect b/c literally all of your peers & co-workers can stand you, get help, or work in the morgue where at least your efficiency can be documented. Officially we give zero stars. G-D help your next patient/victim.
