Dr. David E. Ruggieri, MD

Dr. Ruggieri is the, "Best of the Best." I was going from doctor to doctor until I saw Dr. Ruggieri. He immediately reviewed my medical history, diagnosed my issues, and made recommendations. About 16 years ago I had an appointment with my primary doctor. As things go, I told him I was not feeling to well. He was so concerned about me, he contacted Dr Ruggieri, whom I met right then. Dr Ruggieri did initial tests and recommended surgery. I had one stent followed up with two more stents 2 years later. He saved my life, and I am very happy to be under his care. He is very thorough and professional. Some people consider the Dr. abrupt, however, under all this is a very caring, concerned, extremely knowledgeable and respectful individual. I highly recommend Dr Ruggiere. His staff is kind, courteous and willing to accommodate any requests. If I could give a higher rating than five stars, I certainly would.

Thorough and calls it out!!!

I Have been seeing Dr. Ruggieri for over 15 years. I live in St. Petersburg and travel 1.5 hours for his services. He put my shunts in over 8 years ago with excellent results. I recently started bringing my 84 year old mother to him. She has been having heart arrhythmia and orthostatic hypotension. He has gotten her off unnecessary medication and revised her current medications. He also called her personally for days to check on her progress. He is thorough and caring. He is direct and to the point.

Having seen Dr. Ruggieri for over a year, I am consistently impressed by his dedication to his patients, his unwavering commitment to seeing them become healthier versions of themselves, and his acute ability to bring a no nonsense attitude to all things healthcare. He has a dedicated staff, most of which have been with him well over a decade. I find some reviews online that distort the value of the scientist I experience with my encounters; the quality of which is rarely matched. I find Dr. Ruggieri stopping conversations and answering calls both urgent and non-urgent regarding his patients, that keep him and his staff completely connected to patient care. Having worked for physicians in the past, I find it refreshing. When your Doctor enters the room, it can be a scary thing. Sometimes it is a purely scientific mind that assesses you quickly and fills the room with answers before there are questions. It can create distance between doctor and patient. With my life in someone… else's hands, I'll take the scientist who gets to the point and tells me the truth any day, especially if there is genius to back it up, and Dr. Ruggieri has that genius in spades. I feel lucky to have found him. I recently discovered he has an amazing product out there, too.I purchased his omega-3 product, which solidifies my respect for his professionalism. His commitment to good heart health extends to educating his patients about lifestyle and providing them with supplements that are world class, and set him apart from others in his field. Best doctor I ever went to and went to many. Took excellent care of me. Did not realize the extent of this until I had a tragedy and had to move to another state. HE IS THE BEST

Dr. Ruggieri really cares about his patients. He is a no nonsense type of doctor that really expects his patients to follow his directions.

Dr. Ruggieri may be abrupt in his manner but I'm not paying for niceties but for medical knowledge. If you're looking for a dr to codell you, he may not be your type of dr. His staff are always kind and courteous and willing to accommodate.
