Dr. David Adrian Running, MD

Dr.running was very rude and dismissed/talked down on all concerns we had. The second he walked in the room he brought a sense of smugness and like he didn’t care to help or had better things to do. We asked him several questions to make sure we knew how to care for our issue and he answered with attitude as if we should already know the answers. If you hate your job just say that. He was not professional and was honestly just rude to everything we had to say. Left the hospital with no answers and I hope no one has to go through the same thing we did.

I can’t believe this person is still employed at St E’s. I almost died under his “lack of care”. It says a lot about that hospital that they still employ him. I won’t ever go back there again.

If I could pick zero stars - I would. I work in Health Care, and our ER visit at CHI St. Elizabeth and Dr. Running was the worst health care experience I have ever seen.

Dr. Running spent about 3 minutes with me in ER. He treated me with great disregar, was extremely rude, zero bedside manner, and dismissed my symptoms. He has no business being a doctor & especially in the ER. St. E’s I feel like you just got rid of a female doctor who had this same behavior...other than Dr. Running, everyone else was top notch...don’t let him ruin your reputation again.

I never want to deal with him again not ever I needed help and care not judgement ,I only go to the ER because I need help but not from him both times I left in tears and one time I left in the same amount of pain i was in when I got there,I dont ever want him near me again.

Spent less than 5 minutes with me in the ER and gave me no chance to give him the needed information about why I was there...very arrogant and appeared to be bored.

Dithered. Hard to have confidence in his advice.Acted like I was boring him with my injuries. Ended up calling in three other doctors I could feel confident in their treatment.

Dr Running should not be practicing. Dismissed my concerns about my daughters numb arm and inability to talk or eat, didn't run tests, refused pain meds, was in a hurry but looked bored, didn't even examine her back/neck and she is now dealing with nerve problems and surgery. This should have been caught in the ER, but Dr Running seemed too busy "flirting" with some brunette PA and my daughter left in the same condition she arrived. Never again will we visit that hospital and PLEASE if you are unfortunate enough to get Dr Running in the ER, leave, go anywhere but to this place. Your health is on the line.

Horrible experience! Never going back to SE ER ever again! This doctor made my experience even worse!

He is a jerk! My two year old son had a 105 fever and he made me feel like a moron for bringing him to the hospital. He was rough and rude to my son.
