Dr. David Gerard Rzepczynski, MD

Let me start by saying he was assigned to my Mom and not selected, as she was brought to St. Joe's for GI emergency care by her professional nursing facility. Treated myself and my 85 year old mother with contempt. Demonstrates little care for the patient and dismissive of follow up questions as an annoyance. I've dealt with dozens of medical providers from a spectrum of specialties while assisting aging parents in their extensive medical care and his was by far the worst experience I've ever encountered. Arrogance has a name, and it's Rzepczynski.

I couldn't get in to see my normal GI doctor. So I had to see him. Never again. Made me feel like its my fault for having diabetes. My fault for having a fatty liver. That my gallbladder pain wasn't as bad as I was saying. He never gave me a moment to tell him my gallbladder history. He didn't seem to flipping care. The nurses were great. This man however rude.

Was very good about explaining procedure. He did a good job performing the procedure and following up afterwards.

One of the best doctors I have ever seen! No matter how bad you feel when you go in, you will feel better after having seen him. He treats his patients with care & compassion, so rare these days.

He told me how to prepare for colonoscopy, I did everything he said. I wasn't clear the morning of procedure and he told me it was my fault, I did not follow what he said. After seeing a different Dr., I found out I have a repeating colon. That was why I wasn't clear. I needed extra prep. He didn't know what he was talking about. When my husband had same procedure I asked him a question about the findings & he treated me like I was too dumb to understand & ignored me. He is a very rude man.
