Dr. David James Saad, DDS

My daughter was being treated by our family dentist for weeks for what he said was a tooth infection without any improvement. My friend suggested I take her to Dr. Saad. I will never forget how gentle he was examining her and how quickly he knew it had nothing to do with a tooth infection. Carefull not to worry me, he told me that he wants me to take her to the oral surgeon right away, and he called and let them know he is sending us right over. It was a tumor growth in her face, and my daughter had the surgery right away. That's how Dr. Saad became my children's dentist. I too was trying to find where he is now and was disappointed to find that he retired. So, I wanted to write this as a thank you to him for the wonderful care he gave my children over the years.

I came across these reviews as I was searching for Dr. Saad. Unfortunately I found out that he has retired, but I felt compelled to give him a review, and sorry I have not done that before. Dr. Saad was my children's dentist since they were little children. My son is in college out of state now and is having trouble with his wisdom tooth and wanted to come home and see Dr. Saad before anyone else! He was heartbroken to learn that Dr. Saad retired. Thank you Dr. Saad for the years of wonderful care you gave our children. Your kindness, incredible expert knowledge and humility will be missed in this community. All the best to you.

Dr. Saad has taken care of my children for many years. He is among the most qualified pediatric dentists in the country and the kindest patient person my children love him. I was shocked by the review I read here and I could not let it stand. I called dr. Saad's office. when this lady called to make an appointment she told the office she had insurance, when she had medical-Cal. She got into an argument with the receptionist when she was told that the office is not a Medi-cal provider. Dr. Saad still examined her child and offered to take care of her child for no more than what Medi-Cal pays. Her child needed to be treated in the operating room because of the young age and severity of decay. She expected it would be done the same day and got angry when she was told it can't. If she had bothered to take her child to a dentist before her teeth were damaged so badly, she would have known that the"knee to knee" exam is the standard way pediatric dentists examine young children. It is… unfortunate that ignorant people take out their guilt and ignorance on the people who are trying to help them with the consequences of their ignorance and lack of responsibility.
