Dr. David Edris Sahar, MD

I don’t believe these good reviews, I had a terrible experience with Dr. Sahar. He is rude and clearly clueless, when I asked him the plan for my reconstruction it sounded like he was just making things up as he spoke. Avoid at all costs. Fortunately I was referred to one of his colleagues who is clearly a competent plastic surgeon.

100% recommend Dr. Sahar, he is knowledgeable, friendly, down to earth and overall amazing, the entire office staff is fantastic, I am a patient due to breast reconstruction after mastectomy and having had radiation on both breast previously, when no other surgeon would touch me, Dr. Sahar answered my many questions and did my reconstruction and I cannot be more pleased, my process is still ongoing and I look forward to my visits each time. Thank you Dr. Sahar and Staff for being so awesome

I initially saw Dr Sahar over a year ago. I had back and all kinds of other health problems. My primary concern was my back problems that were exacerbated by a very large bust. Dr Sahar agreed my back problems could be helped by a breast reduction surgery but I would need to lose a minimum of 50 lbs before he could safely operate. With his support and encouragement I was able to have the surgery. My results were great. Dr Sahar did an excellent job and his post surgery care was outstanding. I would highly recommend Dr Sahar as a surgeon not only because of his surgery skills but because of his great bedside manner!

Dr. Sahar is a wonderful, caring doctor. He is detail-oriented and very careful. I felt I was in good hands, and my surgery went perfectly. The follow-up care has also been wonderful.

I had thoracic surgery to remove bone cancer. Dr. Sahar was supposed to provide an aesthetic close. My incision ended up very crooked...something that could have easily been taken care of during my surgery. When approached about it, Sahar's response was that I "should just be glad the cancer was out". Apparently only cash paying cosmetic customers get his best effort. He seems to treat those people different than the folks that need reconstruction surgery. You even have to go to a different scummy clinic by UC Davis hospital if you have a surgical need for a health problem versus the cosmetic people who get to go to the nicer off campus clinic. When I went to my follow up appointment, the room was filthy with blood on the wall and sink. Dr. Sahar was more interested in talking on his cell phone about his bills instead of us. We asked him if he would like us to leave the room while he had his conversation. This dude has no class and it's obvious why he became a plastic surgeon. Do… yourself a favor and find a doctor who actually cares about their patient...even if they have cancer.

Dr Sahar's expertise and attention to detail are exceptional. My reconstruction surgery exceeded my most optimistic expectations.

If you have a difficult problem, then he is probably the best person to go to. I had several failed procedures and finally it took one long surgery with him to take care of it. UC Davis is outstanding!

Dr Sahar is an excellent surgeon. He takes the time to educate you and always makes you feel comfortable with the reconstruction process. Dr. Sahar has a wonderful bedside manner and he always makes me feel well taken care of. I would highly recommend Dr Sahar.

I love Doc. Sahar with his help he has given me the courage to face the battle of fighting breast cancer.I am currently being treated by him for a double breast reconstruction.I know with his compassion, direction and skill I will make it to the finishing line. He and his staff are a educated,compassionate and dedicated to excellence. They truly are a extraordinary group of Doctors and nurses. I am so very fortunate to have them on my team.
