Dr. David Edward Samara, MD

Please do not go to Dr. Samara. He is so burned out. You can just tell. He was my son's pediatrician for the first 6 months and every check up was unpleasant. I am a first time mom, so I always had a few questions for him and that seemed to irritate him. The way he spoke to my husband and I was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. It honestly felt like he was taking his frustration out on my son. For example, every time he checked his ears, he would squish his face down on the table so hard with his hand that my son would scream. Since then I've paid close attention to other doctors/nurses that have checked his ears and none of them have ever used such force on him. We REALLY did not want by on switch doctors, because I loved the nurses at Pediatric Place, but we couldn't tolerate his attitude anymore. Maybe he was a good doctor back in his day, I don't know, but I would never recommend anyone to take their child to him.

The Dr does not listen to patients. His attitude and appearance is humiliating..

Dr. Samara took care of our girls, now 25 and 26 from the age of 1 and 2. He was knowledgeable, caring, easy to talk with and took excellent care of both. My Daughter has decided to take her son (4) to him even though they live 50 miles away. Her experience with Dr's where she lives made her really appreciate one of Dr. Samara's competence.
