I have been a patient of Dr Samuels for MANY years. He is (IMHO) the absolute best in knowledge of medication administration for psychological conditions and is always extremely patient with his clients. I followed him from a previous practice because I have personally witnessed the “skills” of other physicians in this specialty (within a fairly lerge radius). I have recommended many people to this office and will continue to do so! This is not a pill popping dr, as indicated by another reviewer. He is extremely careful to evaluate and follow through with all patients and ensures compliance with his medical regimen. He will dismiss patients unwilling to follow medical advice, as they are obvious not there for real help (my opinion only). I have personally witnessed Dr Samuels take on a very complicated case (family member I referred) and have seen amazing changes I her. She has been able to return to a very good and stable career, has been able to resolve issues at home,… and has lost nearly 100 lbs. The loss was not due to prescription medications, but to the change in her psychological health, which led her to change her physical health. I would recommend this physician to anyone looking for real help and I will continue to see him so long as he is willing to have me as a patient. I honestly wish all of my physicians were as well trained, knowledgeable, and reasonable as Dr Samuels. The health care system would truly benefit from others like him.

Professional, personable, knowledgeable in all specialty areas. Definitely the best Psychiatrist for miles around.

If your looking for someone that does not care about the patient and just wants drugs. You have come to the right doctor. If your looking for help you better run the other way.

Dr. Samuels listens and not many physicians of any kind do that. He bases his diagnosis on a combination of his observations and what he hears his patient say. He went out of his way to fill out a tremendous amount of paperwork for my early retirement. Well beyond what most would do. He is very positive and that tends to rub off. Highly recommend.
