Dr. David C. Sarrett attended Villanova University for his undergraduate studies and earned a D.M.D. degree at the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 1977. He earned a Master of Science degree in Material Science and Engineering from the University of Florida in 1988. Dr. Sarrett came to VCU in 1992 as Chairman of the Department of General Practice, served as Assistant Dean of Academic Affairs from 2000-2004, and now is the Associate Vice President for Health Sciences for the VCU Medical Center. Dr. Sarrett served on the American Dental Association Council on Scientfic Affairs from 2001-2005 and is the Associate Editor for Restorative Dentistry for the Journal of the American Dental Association. He is also the Editor of the American Dental Association Professional Products Review, a quarterly publication for dentists that provides unbiased and scientifically sound dental product evaluations. He is a …fellow in the American College of Dentists. Dr. Sarrett practices general Dentistry with emphasis on conservative and esthetic dentistry.
