Rarely do you find an amazing surgeon who is also incredibly kind and understanding and reassuring! Dr. Schanzlin has no equal and as someone who has racked up 4 corneal transplants, 2 cataract surgeries and several other procedures I do consider myself an excellent judge. I did not know of him until after some of these events so he had things to fix and taught me a lot about eyes and relaxing as I was with the best opthalmologist anyone has known. I remain forever in his debt and I pray he will not retire for my lifetime!

I had cataract surgery by Dr. Champlain, and I was so impressed with his warmth and professionalism. Everyone on his staff was helpful in answering my questions and took great care of me. De David was greate. He performed corniea transplant on both eyes about 30 years ago and i am very Happy with My surgery still. He is an ángel of good. If he can send it to me i have problem with My right eye retina. My dr Timothy you sais that i have a little tear and tha i have to have surgery. Dr. Schanzlin and his staff were able to perform cataract surgery on me, an RK patient from the 1980's, who recently had a retina reattached and a vitrectomy. Because of their skill and use of the latest technology I won't need to wear glasses. Nobody in Sandpoint or Spokane was able to provide the service I needed due to the above conditions. I am so fortunate to have had these fine people doing what they do best. I can't say enough good things about the entire experience.
