Dr. David Clarence Schilling, MD

As a medical student, I am very aware of good patient care. This doctor was very arrogant and rude from my first visit. I decided to give him a chance since everybody has bad days. He didn’t listen to me as I tried explaining my symptoms and he made me feel like the visit was a burden to him. I will not be going back to this doctor.

Dr. Shilling is quite thorough. He listens and responds honestly. He has been very helpful to me. I find him to be professional and approachable.

I came to see Dr Schilling after moving to the area. I was treated terribly. He was very unfriendly and overbearing. I am happily back with my previous psychiatrist - it is well worth the drive.

I have been to several psychiatrists in the past 5-years. I have never been treated so terribly as I was during my two visits with Dr. Schilling. He is abrupt, arrogant and condescending. He ought to have chosen another specialty.

He treated me so poorly that the clinical psychologist present apologized repeatedly for his behavior.

Dr. Schilling is very professional and listens to my concerns. He is always on top of my issues and regulating the proper medications to fit my needs to treatment.

With Dr Schilling, your appt time is the time you see him. He observes,asks questions, offers input when asked, makes suggestions, explains and informs patient of the actions/reactions of medications (and why he is prescribing the med). Easy to talk to, will laugh and smile when you are with him. Makes sure that you understand everything before you leave the office. Able to reach outside of office quickly when needed. Your appt covers necessities of visit with respect to your personal schedule, thus being to-the-point yet thorough without being rushed. He personally calls you into his office. Knowledgable, yet will answer 'I don't know but I will find out for you', and does so! Very courteous and respectful, as is his staff. I very highly recommend Dr Schilling.

I would highly recommend Dr. Schilling. I was listened to,and continue to have follow-up visits as needed. He is caring,honest, and forthright. I would trust him to make the right decisions for my health and well-being.

Very frightening experience led me to seek this doctor's help. 1st of, I was also referred to psychologist/social worker that after a few visits I just could not tolerate her method--Dr Skilling referred me immediately to psychologist more to my personal 'fit'. Dr Schilling easy to reach in emergency. Takes the necessary time always, especially in case of emergency, and follows up on treatment as being given. Is willing to communicate w/other doctors I see--makes me very at ease to speak with. Phone calls/emails answered quickly. Highly recommended topeople who want to help themselves!
