Dr. David Neal Schwartz, MD

I saw Dr Schwartz many many years ago. 1994-ish. I was awake and he gave me local anesthesia and had to break every bone in my nose to perform a deviated septum. What was supposed to be a 2-3 hour surgery ended up being a 5 hour surgery. Unfortunately, when the bandages came off (5 days date later) I had this big open sore on the tip of my nose which he mentioned "It look like I had been dragged on the street for a block". Apparently the tip of my nose became dead because the blood flow was no longer there and with the bandages on, we didn't know until it was too late. Many dermabrasions later and about 30 years, I am reminded of the worst looking scar and profile you can imagine. I hope he figured out what he did wrong... it life defining and 100% an error on his part!!

The experience with doctor Swartz was good, the only thing I don’t like is the fact that they don’t call you when your appointment is approaching.

I went to Dr. Schwartz because he had the first available appt. (now I know why) for a routine ear wax removal. At the time of my appt. I had no ear pain. Waited for an hour in the waiting. Okay my turn, he rushed during the procedure and was quite aggressive with removal in my left ear which was extremely painful. When the wax came out, it was covered with red residue--my blood. After removal, had some pain the next day. Two days later, my ear extremely painful and has a clogged, full feeling. I specifically went to an ENT to remove my ear wax with finesse and prevent damage; I feel like I was butchered. Stay away!
